About a minute after Kate had left, Wiffleball came out from under the bed, leading Noctimus out as well. He patted the little shadow's head once, then motioned for it to follow him as he set off in the general direction of the dining room.

Meritursas continues waving his lure around for Dragon.

(Trevor, Kate, Noctimus and Wiffle are also at the table, I think.)

Noctimus waddled after Wiffleball. Would there be enough food for either of them?

Or y'know. At least one.

Wiffleball doesn't need to eat.

Wiffleball is the true hero of the story.

"I will try!" Viridis yelled down,  after watching Silven descend. She jumped off, and held her wings in such a way it would slow her fall a bit and flapped them as she fell down. It sort of worked! But she stopped too early and fell like she normally would. Viridis rotated herself in the air very fast a couple of times, and landed on her legs. "Oof. Right... I might have... quit holding my wings steady a little too soon there." She said.

"But you did a fine job on your first try! Hmm, now that I think about it maybe we should try to way my home does it. It would require for us to spend time getting your wings to be stronger for flight, then we need to go to a large cliff with spiked rocks at the bottom. You will then either fly or get stabbed on the rocks. It is quiet the motivation to not lag behind in flying if I do say so myself!" Silven said as he nodded to his memories of the first true flight he took.

Famen and Angelle finished their food, laid their leftovers to the side of the staircase and started up the stairs to investigate the uber loud thud they heard earlier.

... Yet nothing came... Crab sulked away. Maybe his master is busy? He saw the dog following the human, and hoppef onro her back.

 

Gyx kept stuffing his face with raw eggs. They tasted so much like Sea Turtle Eggs.

The upstairs wasn't as open as the first floor was. There was a balcony with a few couches overlooking the downstairs of the house but the rest of it was all separate rooms. Looking down the hallway, Turner was on the ground on top of an unhinged door. Famen couldn't see within unless he got closer...

Astonishingly, only about a quarter of the food remained due to the gluttony of everyone.

Famen approached the giant robot. "Umm, hey Turner. You alright?"

Turner remained dormant, looks like Famen will have to reboot his system again. The room Turner broke the door of appeared to be a bedroom, but it was too small to be the master's. The window gave a nice view of the ocean and the wrecked ship. Everything was clean, Turner was probably tidying up the place after giving Ashby his breakfast. Presumably.

Famen propped Turner open and did what he did last time, hoping that would work.

Turner kicks on after Famen did whatever he did last time and he stands himself up. A different, very robotic sounding voice is heard, "HARD DRIVE UNSTABLE. TRANSFERRING MEMORY TO ALTERNATE DEVICE.... ALTERNATE DEVICE NOT FOUND. SHUTTING DOWN TO PREVENT FURTHER HARM TO HARD DRIVE..." Another uber loud thud is heard as Turner's two ton body crashes into the floor.

Famen and Angelle jumped as they were mere feet away from the uber loud thud. Famen drew a blank as to where he could find an alternate device. He stepped over the robot, which left a decent sized dent in the floor, to look through the room Turner knocked the door down to.

Upon closer inspection, there was a crumpled up blanket in the corner. It was bloodstained and it was still damp. The window was open which wouldn't be unusual in any other situation.

Famen didn't look at the blanket long. He had a weak stomach for things like this. Say, where did that drone run off to? Famen stuck his head out the window to investigate.

Famen saw part of the drone outside. It actually didn't look like the whole thing, maybe just half of it. Leaning over the window to see, Famen placed his hands right on some blood on the windowsill.

Kate watched silently as Jaw and Gilda started flinging food at each other. She slowly, cautiously, pulled her plate and cup under the table. If she didn't make any sudden movements, maybe they wouldn't notice her.

Kate and Kade were sitting under the table out of the casualty zone of the food fight when Wiffle and Noctimus waddled up. She grinned and offered the pup a piece of bacon.

After a few failed attempts of jumping up to catch the lure, the dragon starts trying to climb Meritursas' face to get it.

Noctimus decides it's the perfect time to practice the delicate art of "NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM."

Wiffleball gave Kade a small wave, and Kate a big hug.

Meritursas grunts as the dragon uses his face as a climbing wall.  To try and speed up the process, he starts tossing his head upwards to give her a boost.
