Besides, they had tiny Meritursas on their side, and unlike himself, Meritursas could actually swim. Kate scowled as the crab was nudged closer to her and her baby Noctimus, and got up to move away from it when she stepped on something. It was her pirate hat. Seemingly noticing it for the first time, she carefully shifted the bundled pup to one arm and picked up the pirate hat, a mischievous smile growing on her face. Many strange creatures skirt just outside their field of vision, only revealing a barnacle-crusted tendril or carapace-covered leg before vanishing into the murk. Below them, the glimmering lights of bioluminescent strand organisms twinkle like tiny fallen stars. A warehouse-sized crab shark floats past, its plated armor creating long grating shrieks as they rub against eachother, and thousands of legs clattering like wooden wind chimes. It pays the party no mind as they delve deeper and deeper. Speaking of crabs, Gyx's teleported on the table Noctimus slept on. It slowly crawled towards Noctimus, wielding a knife in one claw. It pinched Noctimus on the cheek to wake it up. STUPID. CRAB. Angry boiling up inside her, Kate flicked her wrist, shooting a little sphere of flame that almost exploded on the crab and engulfed it in flame. Both her and Kade seemed surprised. She took the knife in her mouth from the crab. Be afraid. Neither she nor Kade took their eyes off the crab for a second as she watched the naive pup nuzzle what she had decided was an evil demon, preparing to make it suffer even further if it tried anything.
