By this time Famen was at the edge of the beach. "Hey Meritursas! Can you give me a hand?" He called to Meritursas, still lugging the cannon of goodies around.

Angelle took the bone from Famen's pocket. Mission accomplished.

Wiffleball didn't move. Slowly, he lifted both of his arms and placed them around Kate, embracing her in a hug that he wished could last forever.

The dragon stuck her head into her pouch to check up on all her shinys. There were the four gold ones, the blue one, the red one... Wait a minute, didn't she have a round glass one? She stared into space for a moment, trying to remember if she really did put that glass thing in her pouch. She shook her head to dismiss it before checking on her wounds.

The tear in the membrane of her wing seemed to be slowly growing back together, little bits of lighter, newer flesh spanning the gap at the narrow end of the rip. After a moment of hesitation, the dragon also pealed off the sheet of fiber that was wrapped around her leg. It had long stopped bleeding, and even though there was still a good chunk of flesh missing the plant's transfer of nutrients seemed to have helped a lot in speeding up the healing process. A little ring on pink flesh peaked out where the scales hadn't regrown yet. She continued to examin it for a moment. Maybe she'd get lucky and some maggots would hatch in her wound to eat away the dead flesh and prevent infection. Oh well, probably a good time to head back to the wooden floaty thing.

Gilda is getting left behind. So she stands against the pain in her chest. She feels somewhat whoosy and there was sand inbetween her scales. She hated the beach and ocean.

"I wonder if the others are coming back soon." Wheke hoped they were alright, the screaming had stopped so s/he assumed so.

Aiden (Syndir's real name) loosened up from his usual tense state and stared calmly at the odd bunch before him, a subtle grin forming beneath his mask. He had just met them today, but he could already tell they had been through alot—and had gotten through it together. They were a family...

His smile quickly faded.

Wiffleball finally separated from Kate, head hung low. He glanced over at Jaw and Gilda, both trying their best to make it back to the boat. He really did want to make it up to them somehow. Gilda, well, he wasn't sure what he could do for her, but for Jaw... His eyes lit up with inspiration. He had an idea, but to pull it off, he'd have to be quick about it. Quick as a bunny, you could say.

He dashed into the jungle, then began climbing the first jungle tree he saw. About thirty seconds later, he reached the top of the tree and began searching through the leaves for something.
