Trevor gave Wheke a thumbs up. He'd certainly try his best to not die.

The ship suddenly stops, briefly sending everyone airborne before they slam back down on deck.  Meritursas barely manages to hold on to the ship.  Holding him in its teeth is by far the largest...thing any of them have seen.  It has vaguely the shape of a massive serpent, but in segmented pieces like an insect.  Its entire body is covered in a carapace, almost like that of a crab.  Each segment of shell ends in four points, the largest spikes tapering to an end over its back.  They are colored black, with a strange sort of pink sheen.  Its head is shaped vaguely like Meritursas's, but flatter and with two large yellow eyes instead of 6 smaller white ones.  Three large spines rise from the top of its head, with purple webbing between each one.  It looks strangely like a crown.

" Why hello there!"  It says in a bizarrely bubbly female voice.

This is unrelated, but for the main post can we put "wrecked" instead of "dead"?

Why hello there? Ok, Kate needed to see what the heck was going on outside. She stood up and wobbled her way over to the stairs, hesitating a bit before poking her head out the door.

And then immediately pulling it back in.

Wiffleball followed close after Kate, eager to finally leave the cargo hold and see what was going o-

He just stood in the doorway, unsure of what to make of the colossal beast holding their colossal beast.

Viridis was surprised by the feminine voice coming from such a large beast. It sparked her interests, and she wanted to get a look up close. "Uh... why... hello ther--"

... but she was still firmly stuck in the floor, unable to pull her claws out of the boards.

Noctimus stared at Angelle curiously.

Trevor couldn't see the giant creature, but it sounded friendly enough. He waited around, petting the dragon every now and again. He didn't want to get on it's bad side.

{I'm pretty sure I've decided a Quacken's Wheke's mum. And a tentacle creature from the main land is Wheke's dad. I'm like. 80% deciding that}

Wheke was still hugging the mast firmly, too scared to let it go. There were too many large beasts in this part of the sea.

Gilda had no idea what to say or think. That's was the strangest thing she's ever seen. It was huge and looked similar to the monster that pushed the boat, but not quite.

Angelle walked over to Noctimus and sat there patiently.

Noctimus backs away slightly. What was this creature? It was big and scary!

"You're rather small for a Tursai.  You'd barely make a decent snack."  It says, enormous slitted pupils staring down at the smaller serpent.  Meritursas seems more annoyed than worried.  "Put...me down."

Mark didn't care about anything else right now.

He was too busy fixing his umbrella to pay attention to the titanic beast that could probably end everyone's lives in a matter of seconds.

"Hey... Jaw...! Can you... give me a hand... here..?" she said while she made another attempt at pulling her claws out of the board.

"UUUHM. YES!"

He pulls the flower girl from her tail

With both of their pulling-strength combined, they got her out of there! ... But she was launched in the direction of the face of the giant beast that held Meritursas, and smacked into it.

The serpent doesn't seem to notice Viridis; it is too busy talking to Meritursas.  "Put you down?  Nah.  You might get caught up in my whirlpool, and I don't want to eat you...yet."  It says with a menacing smile.  Meritursas rolls his eyes.  "please...spare me."  He says sarcastically.

"Ooh, what's this?  Did you bring me some more of those things you dropped in before?"  It asks, adjusting its grip on Meritursas to get a better look at the ship.  "And what a pretty package, too!"

Viridis regained her senses, only to find that she was standing on the beast's nose. "Ooohh!" she thought. She got to see the great creature from up close! She knocked on it's exoskeleton to see how hollow it was, if at all. "Say... madame?" Viridis yelled. "You have got... quite admirable armour."
