The screams outside had died down by the time Wiffleball finished its repairs. Not counting the sounds of Kate smushing her face into Angelle, the hold was completely silent. After a while of just sitting there, the plush rabbit leaned over and looked at Kade, studying him with a blank, yet vaguely curious expression.

(OK, something really really weird just happened. I typed out my post, hit reply, and then suddenly the screen says I'm blocked because something I did set off the security system??? I'm kinda freaking out right now, so I'm going to try to send this through, and then if it posts I'll try again.)

Gyx slowly became more and more numb, first losing physical sensation with the world, no longer feeling the tiny grits of sand rub against his moist scales. Then, he began to lose his emotions, and then the feeling for those he was attached to. He lost concern for his friends, and even himself, until he was completely numb. Had he even existed? Was reality based around his mind? Soon, he hardly thought, but simply was. Then, he saw it. From wild thoughts, he imagined a universe. Thousands of lights, bursting and dying in no pattern. Until after a few moments...
