"You've made the right choice Shana "

Twisted hands pulled her deeper into the water, deeper and deeper until everything was black. She was unseen and unseeing within the inky depths of the small pond. Escorted by a beautiful figure, deeper and deeper. "We're going to the Hollows my dear, it is secure there. I will keep you safe Shana, don't worry..."

The evil laughing stick won't poke you there

(Nice going blew. You've put a character of mine in jeopardy. AGAIN.

jk)

The figure's words of assurance did nothing to calm the panicked and frightened girl. Shana couldn't see anything. She didn't know what was going on. It felt like just a few moments ago she was laying in a hospital bed, now she's being dragged under water after she was shoved in by an unseen force. She was quivering, and would have been crying if her tear ducts still worked, but she couldn't tell they weren't working as she was surrounded by water.

tear ducks XD

Shana and the figure descended into the darkness. After awhile, they suddenly stopped. "Breathe, Shana. It's alright." The figure turned her around and brushed the hair away from Shana's face. "I wasn't lying Shana, you will be perfect." The two continued downwards for what seemed like forever, the water around them became warmer and a small light appeared below. "Here we are!"

They emerged from the water, which was seemingly breaking physics for they were going downwards. A strong, hot blast of air soared through the tunnel they were in, bringing with it the smell of sulfur. The figure took a deep breath, obviously delighted by the smell of home. She could be seen now, a beautiful demonic woman. #SexySuccubus "You have to stay with me as we walk, it can be dangerous at times."

Opal awoke several minutes later, she stood up, gawking at the destroyed machine lying in front of her.

"So... Mr. "Gentleman" care to explain this?"

"That monster knocked you unconscious, I took over your body briefly, and "dealt" with it."

"How creepy that is aside, you've been holding out on me, then?"

"What?"

"Well obviously just taking over my, weak, frail humanoid body isn't enough for you to take down the monster."

"And what exactly are you suggesting..?"

"That we have some sort of special powers, ones that only I can use." she paused for a moment, then pointed an accusatory finger at him "And you haven't told me anything about them!"

He threw up his arms in defeat. "Quick as a whip, aren't ya girl?

Opal's smile morphed into a confident smirk "Guess I am."

"Our abilities aren't very constrained. Our bodies are made out of pure nightmare fuel, and you can control that substance, there are no set rules, or specifics, your imagination is quite literally the only limit you have."

"So... I could maybe..." Opal put her right foot forward and her left back "Do something like..." She moved her still-human hand on to the forearm of her left, pressuring on it as if trying to mold it into some sort of shape, the liquidy substance conformed to her wishes, and morphed into a blade resembling that of a scythe "..This?" she lunged forward out of her stance towards the nearest tree, bringing her arm down in a diagonal line, slicing the tree cleanly into two pieces, the top half of which slid off, crashing onto the ground with a loud smash.

A mischievous grin spread across Opal's face "Heh, Kick-ass." She straightened up again, her demeanor instantly changing back to normal "..Hope no-one, or nothing, heard that though."

(You mean you don't have those?)

Shana couldn't help but wrinkle her nose at the smell of sulfur, a smell she associated with the one time mother tried to cook. Those poor eggs...

She was startled by the demonic appearance of the woman, but quickly stared down at her shoes when her realized her was staring. Not really having any other choice, the still frightened and confused girl followed her captor.

(I'm going to use a friend's character, for old time's sake.

Name: Jakob Battal

Gender: Male

Age: Unknown, even to him.

Race: Human enough.

Backstory: I'll tell it through the roleplay.

Abilities/Disabilities:

·  Pyromancy - Jakob can manipulate flames and heat to create fireballs, explosions, and much more.  However, he cannot magically generate flames out of thin air; he must draw from another heat source, be it the sun, an existing fire, or even that of other bodies.  However, when he has a lot to work with, the results can be quite spectacular...and catastrophic to whoever opposes him.

· Bladesmanship - Jakob's weapon of choice (while not incinerating everything) is a massive broadsword he keeps slung over his back.  Though slow, the blade is nigh-indestrucrible, forged of unnatural metals, and almost never needs sharpening.  Though usually a mundane melee weapon, the sword was made to channel Battal's pyromancy; while charged, it can burn through steel, fire ethereal blades of pure flame, and much more.

· Shapeshifting - In dire situations, Jakob can unpredictably, unreliably and uncontrollably shapeshift.  However, this is more of a curse and a hindrance than an asset; he cannot shapeshift (or return to his normal form) at will, and the forms he takes are mostly useless, random, and hard to control.  Except for one.

· Doesn't have hands - Since fire magic originate from the bones, it would make sense to burn off all the skin, flesh, and normal coverings that Jakob's hands would have.  He can still move them around normally through dark magic, but they make it rather difficult to hold on to objects that do not have grips or leather wraps.

Appearance: Jakob is tall, thin and gaunt, with pure black hair.  His hands are skeletal, without a single patch of flesh on them.  He wears a black jacket, with clawlike protrusions on the shoulders and arms.  Under this jacket, he has a dull grey shirt.  He also wears coattails, despite the fact that they went out of style decades ago.

Holly was startled by the girls loud tone.

She wanted to tell her to calm down, but wasn't exactly sure it'd be smart telling the person with a giant hammer that was beating a metal object to calm down.

"Umm... My name's Holly... Holly Fern... W-whats your name? Do uh... Do you know where we are exactly?" Holly said, twiddling her fingers.

"Mmm..."

She shakes her head, as she drops the hammer down on the broken Science Machine. She was now calm, rapid mood shifts are rather common in her everyday life.

"No I have noooo idea where we are. It looks like a forest, like a giant forest with red and yellow colours everywhere like it's a fcuking carnival or something."

Bonnie then proceeds to staring at the stranger and slowly walks towards her, to stop at a meter of distance, and looking streight in her eyes, face to face with the unsettled girl, she says:

"Nice to meet you Holly!!"

*laughs*

"My name is Bonnie Diamonds Bombaster!! And the thing on my head is called Boo and it's my friend and kind of a brother that looks after me. It doesn't speak a lot though."

"Thing..?" It was just then that Holly noticed a face on her hair. "Oh... Well, that's strange... But anyway, we should probably start looking for any signs of civilization. As much as I love nature, I should really get back home..."

Just then, Holly began wondering if the ritual worked or not, if her brother was still dead, or if she actually managed to bring him back.

Shana had been raised to be seen and not heard. Any questions she had were frowned apon by her parents, so despite her curious nature, she had learned to keep her mouth shut from an early age. This acceptance of curiosity was a surprising change, but a welcome one.

"How do you know so much about me?

"Ah, difficult question. You see, I don't know how he does it, you'll have to ask him when we get there." Barking and snarling could be heard in the tunnel ahead, getting closer. "Stay close Shana." She brought her around her side, between her and the wall. "Don't worry, they know me. They are smarter than you may think."

A pack of Red Hounds ran past, in a massive skirmish against one another. Yelping and howling as they clawed and snapped at each other. Two ran astray, in a private duel, heading straight towards the two. The demon looked obviously annoyed at their ignorance, "Get back you stupid mutts!" She produced a fiery whip out of thin air and lashed the two Hounds, they shrieked and skittered back to the rest of the pack. "Not as smart as I thought... They get restless at this time, they can sense the oncoming winter." The whip crumbled into ashes and the demon brushed the soot off her hands. "Anyways, I can answer SIMPLE* questions, like: where we are, who am I, where am I taking you to, what's gonna happen to you, etc."

(Hehe, yup. Looks like I'm good at that, Mena. Don't feel half as bad this time though.

You'd better do Jakob justice, Quiet. I'll be watching.)

After bashing the frog, Wunan returned his attention to the pond. He put his foot in to test the temperature, prepared to smack away another frog, should the need arise.
