Cozyhut3
..And I'm a little annoyed that after waging an intense battle, RNG decides to shortchange me one Down Feather that I need to make the Luxury Fan. Seems like bad game design right there. :/ I modded and changed the recipe to four feathers now but I feel kinda bad about this. Also, does anyone else have him show up in Winter? o_0
Ysulyan
The Moose always drops 3-5 down feathers, how strange for you that it dropped you just one.And no, Moose spawns only in Spring. At least that's how it is in my game experiences.
Strangerdanger101
if you set moosegoose to lots it should spawn in other seasons.
NeoDeusMachina
What he meant is that is is 1 down feather short to be able to craft one of the giants items. I think the Goose/Moose drop is fine, considering the moslings (if you find the egg) drops a huge amount of down feathers too, more than enough to craft either of the items (I even had enough to craft both). I remember seeing in autumn. The egg spawned in spring but I didn't go near enough for him to appear. I revisited in autumn and he spawned, I killed him, then the moslings! I don't know if that's normal or not. I don't know if the eff is meant to despawn like the giants or not!
oCrapaCreeper
The rest of the feathers come from the Moslings, which are actually harder than the gmoose itself. If you did not let her lay an egg, then that's all you get.
Sindex
I think it's still kind of funny that the Goose/Moose is a real push over compared to it's offspring. Those tasmanian turkeys are pretty mean suckers.

orian34
in fact, the m/Moose AND the moslings are the same boss, it is one! They don't are the same monsters but they are the two parts of the spring boss.

Doctor H. Derp
What on earth is it's official name? Guh-Goose? Muh-Moose? Both.If you mouse over the Moose/Goose the "G" or "M" keeps alternating, so really I'd think both would work.
orian34
It's like the spring boss, both are his parts. It's not without one or the other...It's a really interesting boss, not only bwaahh mega monster(hi bearger!) but a dual form for one entity(and the fact that's a Goose/Moose are not in concern > ).... it's definitly my favourite boss. spencer320
How long after spawning does the Goose/Moose lay her egg? I've never actually seen one!
orian34
you have to wait some days (1-3) before she lay an egg and more(or just hammer the egg) for see the little moslings playing...
The Letter W
First one I got laid her egg in the pig village. The pigs apparently like moslings because they didn't bother them at all.
