What do you think the characters think if each other?

Recommended Posts

Still that's more then the headstone quotes which is all the same for every character. Even WX's aren't put into caps. So they're obviously there for some sort of reason outside of the error handling.

Simply because Klei wanted to?

Simply because Klei wanted to?

It is my honest, sincere belief, that Klei eventually will, in fact, ....*drumroll*

...implement multiplayer!*

*As "Don't Starve Multiplayer" DLC at least as expensive as the game itself.

**And it will break every mod which currently exists.

***And if you want to use it with Reign of Giants, you'll need to buy "Reign of Giants Multiplayer"

What is this post

Some would also say that a human would die upon being trampled by a 10,000-pound

giant bipedal hairy rhinoceros even if they were wearing a suit made out of wood.

What's your point?

Wait theres a giant rhino in this game! man i gotta keep up

This is good

it doesn't make sense that a robot would die of starvation

*sigh* Where else does his energy come from besides food? lightning doesn't provide harness-able energy as it is too much too fast. He eats food to convert into energy like biomass, and that is why he doesn't care about spoilage, he can't eat poop and stuff because that would make the food sytem too easy.

On topic though here is what I think:

Wilson: Very amiable, but prefers to keep to himself and conduct research. Him and Wickerbottom get along well and do experiments together.

Willow: Liked by Woodie, and likes him back. They both have very severe problems and can relate to each other.(If any two were to get all smoochy smoochy have a relationship I think it would be Willow and Woodie.

Wolfgang: Appreciated by everyone, though he only really gets along well with Wendy. Wickerbottom, Wilson, and WX78 hate him because of his unintelligible nature. Other than that he is neutral.

Wendy: Plays with and talks to Abigail (should be Wabigail) most of the time, and sort of does her own thing. WX78 is fascinated with Abigail and relates to her through hatred of life.

WX78: Is actually a nice person and is a hard worker, contributing a lot to the group. WX78 recognizes the strengths and weaknesses of the other people, and only judges them by that. (save Wendy, who he is actually friends with). WX78 also is fine with Wolfgang, as they have a deep respect forged through doing the majority of the group's fighting together.

Wickerbottom: Gets along with Wilson and tries to get along with WX78 so she can have a closer examination of him. She makes paper and records everything that happens to the group in hopes of credibility of their adventures for when they escape. She also is obsessed with creating a camera on which she will plug into WX78 as an energy source, as she would like more than a notebook as evidence.

Wes: Entertains the group, and helps them keeps sane. He can actually talk but he only speaks to WX78 when he is sure they are alone in hopes of getting WX78 to talk about why/how he got here. Everyone knows that he is struggling to pull his weight, but he is well liked and does "around the house" chores like fetching wood.

Maxwell: He loves kittens and yeah no spoilers so no comment but I'm pretty sure he loves kittens.

EDIT: Woah-woh-oh-ho-o, last post as a normal member, soon to be a senior.

Wilson: Polite and gentlemanly, but prefers to be on his own, doing experiments and observing nature.

Gets along well with Wickerbottom, with whom he often shares notes and theories. Constantly waiting for

WX-78 to fall in battle so he can open him up and study his internal workings.

Wolfgang: Well aware of his own strength and often boastful, but all in all genuinely cares about

everyone else and views himself as a father figure. He gets along well with everyone except for

Wickerbottom who, as a librarian, can't stand his broken English and tendency to compare everything

around him to his own muscles.

Willow: Gets along fine with everyone, but desperately fights herself not to burn down the things

her friends build. She and Woodie like to hang out together and talk, and relate well to each other

because they both have rather destructive habits which they struggle to control.

Wendy: The loner of the bunch. She isn't mean and she's well taken care of, but she doesn't

like being around other people and her obsession with death and darkness make others more than

happy to leave her alone. Often sits out at her own fire pit alone at night, whispering into the

darkness as if she thinks there are people out there listening.

WX-78: WX doesn't like people, but acknowledges their "usefulness". Due to his neutral, unemotional

attitude and dull, calculative observations, he gets on everyone's nerves and the rest of the party views

him the same way he views them; "useful". He is particularly paranoid around Wilson and will often walk

away after saying "THREAT DETECTED" when he appears.

Wes: Doesn't talk much. He's a mime stuck in his role. Wes is to Don't Starve as Pyro is to

Team Fortress 2. Nobody knows anything about him; even Maxwell himself admits that Wes

is a mystery, and doesn't understand why Wes still acts like a Mime even after being released

from his curse.

Woodie: His ways are somewhat similar to a cross between Wendy and Willow, although he's

not quite as seclusive as Wendy. He's friendly and helps out as often as he can without "that" happening.

Maxwell: Smug, clever and on top of the world. Nobody likes him for what he's done, but he

knows every aspect of everything in their wilderness world. To reject his wisdom is foolish and to plot

against him is dangerous, so everybody grudgingly admits that he's the "head of the party."

I love how no one mentioned that X character would want to screw with Y character, they are just so perfectly matched up that no one would have deep reliationship with one another.

Maybe except Woodie and Wolfgang.

Ok, fine.

I'll bet Woodie would like Willow to burn his log, ifyaknowwhatImean.

You brought that one on yourself. Now you must live with it.

Although I'm already sorry.

Obviously Wendy x WX-78.

It just NEEDS to happen.

I"M WAITING

Lil' bit of random headcanon, eh. Okay.

Wilson is a kinda calm guy, except for his random creepy science obsessions, so he would get along well with most of them. I always imagine Wilson and Willow as a sort of duo in arms, I don't know why. Must be because of the faces. I can see those two getting along well anyway. Wilson would annoy WX with trying to examine him, and would have bickering science fights with Wickerbottom, and get along well with the rest of them.

Willow, as I said before, I imagine to be good friends with Wilson, and also with Wes. Wes always seems very young to me, close to Willow, and since I imagine them to be pretty similar age, Willow would be more drawn towards him than the adults, even if Wes is, well, a bloody mime. She wouldn't like Wickerbottom though, because she's the naggy professor type, and also because she won't let Willow burn her books.

Wolfgang would be very protective of everyone around him, especially Wes since they probably worked together before getting drawn into nightmare. Everyone would find him a bit adorably dumb (except Wickerbottom, who would be annoyed at him, and WX, who hates everyone) and leave him their spare food so he doesn't start looking all sad and tiny and french.

Wendy would be a bit of an outsider, since she is rather creepy. She would get along well enough with WX, since they both have a fascination with death in some way, and because Wendy is much quieter than the rest of them and WX would like that.

Wickerbottom would boss everyone around and constantly fight with Wilson over science-y topics. Nobody really likes her, but since she proves useful to the group and isn't too bad of a person, nobody really dislikes her either. Except WX and Willow.

WX hates everyone except Wendy.

Wes, who the hell knows what Wes is thinking. He will just pretend to ride a bicycle and look dumb as always.

I personally don't think they know about each other, Because they are all put into different, randomly generated worlds... I say that each time a character stats in a world, it's in another dimension that just so happens to have similar events occurring. How else would a character that has died in a recent "game" return to fight in a new world?

It's all Wibbly-Wobbly Timey-Wimey... stuff.

I can totally imagine a sitcom with them all..

It's the Don't Starve Half Hour of Comedy!

In a land so far away, far from time and space

Lives a gang of groovy folks trying to survive this place!

...

 That is amassing!

About my own opinion... I just like "all alone" game atmosphere. It's really bad for insanity of heroes.

But if they'll meet each other...  Cooperative would be really useful for every hero. And anyone need someone for sure. Exept WX-78. But others... They are humans after all.

All-alone?

Really?

Pigs, Chester, Rabbits, Smallbirds and Glommer.
