What do you think the characters think if each other?

With the exception of their opinion of Wes; we have no real knowledge of how our cavalcade of characters think of each other?

How does Wickerbottom feel about her sisters-in-arms'? Knowing the others are a pyromaniac, a manic depressive and an actress stuck in her role?

How does Wilson feel about his brothers in arms; one who can't string two sentences together, one who thinks he's a robot and another who talks to an axe?

What do you all think?

well there's no doubt that people will have different ideas on this too considering there's no real proof of their relationships with each other

 

I haven't talked a lot about the relationships of most characters in my own personal story but for the ones I have:

 

Willow and Wilson are very close and have the sort of relationship that's mostly "I was forced to babysit this kid who constantly torments me" but has moments where Wilson acts as a sort of father to her and they have complete trust in each other (even though it took a long time for them to develop this kind of trust with Willow suffering from pyromania)

 

Wilson and Woodie get along for the most part but Wilson often finds himself becoming annoyed and drained after talking to him for long periods of time because Woodie always pokes fun at him and calls him stupid nicknames that Wilson can't stand (like calling him "Willy") but Woodie either doesn't notice or doesn't care and seems to really enjoy being around him

 

Willow and Wes get along very well since he's used to being around children and she also seems to be the only one other than Wolfgang who can really understand what he's trying to say and is generally the translator although the others are slowly learning

 

Wolfgang and Wes are also very close since they used to work with each other before being sent to the wilderness by Maxwell and Wolfgang is very protective of him; he never lets him leave the camp by himself in case something happens

 

Wilson is fascinated by WX-78 and constantly bothers it with questions about how it works and if he can open it up to do research on the science behind its creation

 

WX-78 obviously hates or at least dislikes being around everyone else and feels like hanging around the camp is holding it back from really accomplishing anything but seems to have a special hatred for Wilson and makes an active effort to avoid him

 

Wes and Wilson can only talk for so long before Wilson offends him, and Wes is kind of intimidated by him (but he's intimidated by almost everyone so that's not really special) so they're pretty distant except for when they have to interact with each other because of Willow forcing Wes to go with Wilson to gather materials

 

Woodie apparently gets along with everyone but has no real close relationships

 

Wilson is jealous of Wickerbottom's knowledge of science and thinks she's kind of a prude for always unnecessarily using scientific terms for creatures and plants; these negative feelings are mutual as she sees Wilson as uncivilized and a hypocrite

 

there's a lot more depth to most of the relationships but I don't feel like writing an essay on something pretty much no one cares about whoops

Hm hm lets see

Wickerbottom probably doesn't put up with anyones crap, being the oldest (and wisest) she lectures everyone constantly and pisses them off for the most part. Maybe with Wilson she's nicer because of his interest in science but she might despise WX-78 because of his technology. The more gears he eats the less she can stand him. They need her though, she can get them out of tricky situations.

Willow is generally liked because of how easily she can keep Charlie away, but her accidental fires cause a lot of trouble. They let her carry around red objects or else she throws a fit. She keeps close to Wendy and Wilson the most and likes be with Chester.

Wilson is bothered by Wendy, both for her dark tones and her ghost sister. He is amused by Wolfgangs strength and loves WX-78's technology. Has a likeness towards Willow. He likes to take charge and doing any of the building work when it's required. Dosen't like the others touching the machines.

Wendy is babied to an extent by everyone else. Wolfgang likes to carry her around when he's all beefed up. She doesn't like Wickerbottom or Woodie. She mostly spends her time with Willow. Very intrigued by WX-78.

Woodie is generally liked, as Lucy comes in handy. His were-beaver side.. not so much. The only ones who don't like him are WX-78 and Wendy. He gives leftover sticks to Willow so she can burn them.

WX-78 hates everyone, of course. Mostly Wilson. He can stand Wendy a bit more than the others.

Wolfgang is their powerhouse. They set food aside for him when they can spare it. They all find him amusing because of his speech, Wickerbottom and WX-78 aren't fond of him.

I'm still developing headcanons though, especially off of what others think.

My theory is that WX-78 is Wilson after going entirely insane and dressing up as a robot.

he came to hate all organic things as a result of living in the wilderness so long with vicious animals.

That wouldn't explain why water damages him, but it could be that he's been in the suit for

so long that his skin has become hyper-sensitive, reacting violently to the presence

of trace ammounts of salt and acid in water.

Wendy wouldn't form connections, they'll all just die anyways.

Wickerbottom prefers her solitude. Possible maternal instincts under high duress.

Woodie's affable and polite, but would keep a distance for everyone's own safety.

Still that's more then the headstone quotes which is all the same for every character. Even WX's aren't put into caps. So they're obviously there for some sort of reason outside of the error handling.
