I can't help but feel upset that yet again, yet another update about the same thing, which only happens in the end-endgame, in this Theme that has dragged on for so long. Seriously, is this all we're going to get from now on? Wagstaff's junkyard and its autonomous trash cans? And it's yet another update that is incomplete, not in the sense that it's not complete in the patch yet, but that it's yet another one of those updates that you'll read "we don't know what's coming, we can't judge yet" that we read at least 15 times with every update about rifts. And well, now that we're in the future, guess what? They're still incomplete years later.

So all that's left is to wait for a skilltree, since it's the only thing I can interact with during the game, and not after I've already gotten tired of doing almost everything there is just to get there.

Having Shadow/Lunar paths interchange would be cool.

Perhaps a roaming Mini Boss in the caves or a boss emerging from the caves void to ambush players both prepared and under prepared during the nightmare phase after the portal has been repaired could be cool. I really would like some form of mechanic or enemy that would force a constant "on guard" even in the safe parts of the cave system

Well things are quite incomplete yet so nothing really to comment on except this... Why change the HP penalty on drowning, it's not like getting the HP back was impossible, if anything gave some reason for booster shots to exist since you know there are worlds where I have 1000 days without even using one

Unless I'm reading it wrong, I'm getting the vibe that the part 2 of this beta will be what we've been waiting for, at least on the lunar/wagstaff stuff. I think that we will reach the conclusion of a large chunk of the "5 years of stuff happening that will be revealed later"

I think the placement indicator should just be an outline. It looks kind of bad at the larger sizes.

It's probably close to what we expected from these global changes, but I don't have much faith that the other chunk of this update would be enough, unless it's actually much bigger than we thought. A good part of it will be about the boss too so I don't know, wait and see.

is there any other celestial abomination animations?

Most of people don't like that Pearl island is targeted, what i think instead of that island we should take over one of FrostJaws, Why?

First we don't need to bother Pearl island wich is + for besebuilders that already did something

Second it would be ocean related travel so we have to find him eventually

Third would be permament spot for Frostjaw to spawn (so on megabase we would know where he exacly is)

Fifth the ice would make fight even dificult (since there is no exit) and we could walk little above the ice

And last one is Unique Frostjaw questline? after defeating and trading we could send him for Big fish treasure (like we baited pearl) and next meet up would be +1 perma extra bootleg per trade if finished the bossfight

This is the things came into my mind and it might help with future plans ;>

I can imagine for why the Pig Skin, maybe as patches for the disguise, but ashes don't seem to have much reasons for why he'd want them

I assume he wants to make himself a good supply of healing salve with it and that fertilizing glass bottle without the need of burning down things himself (He seems like a well prepared guy to me)

Ashes can be used to make paint, maybe for camouflage?

Yeah honestly this was a super poor choice. I understand there are different playstyles but... base builders/world builders still partake in end-game content? Why would we want to be locked out of progression to save what we have worked hard to create?Ā 

The ocean is vast and empty, they should just create a trash island.

Worst case scenario we rely on mods to fix this. But as of right now, big thumbs down.Ā

i wouldn't mind another island, but what Klei wanted us is interaction with already existing island so that was idea i came with. There would be exeption if WE had to place down all Shocking Barriers in 10x10 tile whenever we want (like creating own island of destruction). It is still beta so i hope klei figure something out about it!

They said that the next two content updates were to finish the lunar and shadow lore. With stronger gear unlocked after afw and cc, it's actually pretty nice to get new content to make the gear feel like it has meaningful purpose.

new gear that a certain someone might never use because his skill tree say that only that spesific gear gives the perks
