He just seems so out of place and he drops very niche items that are not that great.

The items are mainly meant for newer players I don't particularly see how he's unfitting next to the other surface mobs though.

Clearly they should just buff the items he gives that are bad.

I mean are they really? They seem fine to me.

This content will allow easier catching of Bunnies, since they don’t run from you and can be picked up with your bare hands?

it makes grass traps and baiting them pretty pointless.

But which will be faster to speed run building Prestihatitator?

Building traps and catching 4 Rabbit, or getting new rabbit hat to do so?

Its an illusion- the loot helps noobs who had trouble catching the rabbits.

He's not my cup of tea either but to simply outright remove weeks, to months worth of time spent coding, animating, drawing, and designing him doesn't seem on the table.

His drops aren't useless, they're meant for new players, players literally just picking up the game. His fight is easy enough for new players to wail him him too, maybe Bunnymen guards aside.

At first i thought it didn't fit at all, i still do but no big deal, i welcome new early game content. I just want the weapon to be buffed slightly. Why would i wanna deal extra damage to bunnymen? what's the point? They should make it so that the bunnymen near you take less damage and do more. Or maybe just buff the damage a little bit or something, tentacle spikes are way easier to get on mass and do the same damage without sanity drain, they have less durability, but since they are very easy to get that's not a problem. We should have something between ham bat and tentacle spike.

I would very much like to know why he seems out of place to you (or anyone else if they think so)? care to explain a bit further?

Not trying to disagree with or undermine anyone's opinion, i am just genuinely curious.

Some people may actually want to kill Bunnymen/beard lords, because some characters exclusive crafts may require resources obtained from killing them.

Bunnymen are not just hired help… they do have loot drops, and those drops depending on who your playing as can be important (or not..)

When Walter Finally gets his skill tree I’m expecting him to get something like an upgraded portable tent, but one which will require bunny Tufts.

OR Wickers Skill Tree might require them, or a new Wendy Ecthoherbology Elixer, the point is: That you don’t know why Klei adds the things that they add..

But “hopefully” they have an overall long-term goal that we aren’t getting the full picture for yet.

Oof I hope not. Farming bunny puffs is already painful, but is there even a renewable option to get more if you hammer all the bunny hutches and kill them?

Why exactly would we need these items for newer players? Maybe I'm biased because I'm not one, but I feel like traps are good enough, and of all things do we really need to powercreep traps? The carrot suit also powercreeps the one-man band another somewhat underused and "bad?" item, and the crook is really gimcky.

To me at least, none of the Rabbit king stuff feels implemented properly I feel like they should do something different, and course Klei isn't actually going to remove any Rabbit King stuff from the beta/ release, they get final say.

Thanks to the new rabbit king, there is now…

Those aren't beardlords that spawn? I haven't tried the fight, myself.

I agree. Newbies wasting too much time with rabbits to make meatballs was a fairly iconic meme for the longest time. This basically seems more like doubling down on that.

So? You don't need this weapon to kill bunnymen right?

Rabbits make bunnystews now, which is a pretty decent health restoration food that only requires 1 small morsel, and 3 ice (or any other filler) Klei said the art for the rabbits that spawn isn’t finalized, so I have no idea.. I can’t play in betas cause I’m on Xbox- But a Mob that can spawn Bunnymen after all bunnies in the world have gone extinct should probably drop bunny tufts so we can start rebuild their houses.

Carrot suit only works for rabbits and it protects newer players from the consequences of carrying meat around them it's impossible for it to powercreep the one man band since the one man band has more uses. As for the rabbit hat I don't see why having a upgrade to traps for rabbit collecting is a bad thing again it's not like traps can only be used on rabbits they have other uses so this doesn't automatically make them worthless. Even if they didn't though I feel like this would be like not wanting a upgrade bug net.

Good thing the coat prevents that
