It’s not about the pink, lol… it’s about it not looking aesthetically pleasing to my eyeballs in the base decor I’m wanting to use it within.

Wolfgang has a Might Gym skin.. but Wendy only has the default Sisturn.

and I just don’t think it looks right in a Graveyard biome with moss covered tombstones, a fridge shaped like a casket, etc..

But I’ve had these small nitpicks for awhile now, I can’t fully enjoy Wormwoods skins because something as small as the flower trail he temporarily leaves behind feels highly “off”

There’s something about walking around with a giant red eye coming out your head but then not having corrupt/evil/or even Brightshade flower trails as you walk that’s just- wrong?

Sisturn is in the same situation for me.

Or the TL:DR- the upcoming betas official full release will be sometime in OCTOBER, or in Other words… Hallowed Nights, I feel that’s more than enough justification to start talking about potential Hallowed Nights skins that’ll come alongside this betas official release & I therefore want to request a more gothic looking Sisturn..

Maybe let it be worn down, old, maybe the roof on top is broken or covered in moss, maybe it looks like a creepy wishing well that long black haired zombie girls gonna come out of, maybe replace the “cute” flowers with evil ones or even mourning glories..

Whatever- Point is Wolfgang has a Gym skin, and Wendy’s Sisturns still at Default.

Are you guys talking about the base unskinned sisturn? "Girly" isn't the first word I'd use to describe it but I can see where he's coming from. Does not look like it belongs near the coffin ice box.

For Wendy I really hoping for a skin that actually changes more than the flower on Abigail, i'm not talking about completely changing the ghost appearance, but a cool hat, pumpkin head, etc would be sooooo cool...

He got his gym skin for his skill tree update. Wendy will probably get a sisturn skin for hers as well. Outside of that, they don't really give character specific item skins in seasonal event updates. The only instance of that I remember is April fools when we got all those wicker books. I wish they did though, as there aren't any skins for Warly crockpots or Lucy the axe, meanwhile Wigfrid has a few different set of skins that just get released with her character skins

What if the beta isn’t this week either? I know Mr JoeW said it “should” be this week, but.. should be and actually is are two different things.

I don’t mind one way or the other if it is or isn’t. I just think it’d be funny for folks to get hyped for Beta this week when unforeseen circumstances happen that delay it a bit longer.

3 months for a beta, I'm really hoping for a bit more than usual, and it probably will be, however I'm not waiting to be excited because recently I've just not been liking the direction of the game.

Strongly doubt it. I mean, even if they had the means to frontload that much content in a single update. Testers would need to check both the rift content, AND the skill trees at the same time, give feedback on balance of 3 different characters and content...

 

Personally I'm not expecting a "bigger" update than is normal, and I'm fine with that. The slightly longer waiting period might not have been due to ''working on a bigger thing'' but rather ''technical issues'' or ''last minute changes'' they were required to do to something. If it's rift content, the latter might actually be more accurate.

I myself will be extremely disappointed if we also get skill trees, I want more world content, I don't play a lot of characters meaning I don't want to keep getting character updates for characters I don't play myself.

 

There's a lot of things that need work in this game and characters, I'm afraid need the least work as of right now.

I REALLY hope we aren't getting skilltrees cause I've been working on a video about how I would do Walter's skilltree and getting that would make it a huge waste of my time. As if having to eat that shoe wasn't enough.

Ngl i desperately want updates to more characters that i love conceptually but dislike in practice. Simultaneously, i deeply want improvements to the overall world.

 The only update that would disappoint me is more rift content, i’m not going to spend literally two hundred hours to check out new content, and cheating the new content in is boring.

ngl i don’t care about post cc/AF content. Like at all, there would have to be a LOT of content past them for me to want to rush them to experience it. I just don’t enjoy playing the game like a boss rush, and truthfully i havent fought them more than once each legitimately because it simply takes too long if you’re not rushing.

the boss fights are fun, but spending that much time to do that many mini quests is just not very fun to me.

The final bosses also just feel final with how much it takes to get to and fight them.

and the world just needs a lot of sprucing up too. Like honestly i love don’t starve but it has a lot of rough edges
