also, use https://darkreader.org/

i don't like those. they're never consistent and always break a website sooner or later. bandaid solution.

the forums should 100% have a native darkmode.

I believe at some point in past forums had both a Thumbs-Up and some more emoticons/reactions like "Confused" - that visually was pretty amusing. Then some "twatteraties" (4-5 Steam&Discord friends) began using certain reactions (like aforementioned "Confused") in derogatory manner en mass, like a down-vote. Hence KLei removed all of "potentially negative" reactions, citing they broadly want forums to be a wholesome space free of pointless bitter bickering.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure one guy admitted that they used confused as a dislike cuz back when we had a visible reactions counter below our pictures, confused wouldn't add to it.

Nowadays, however, the counter is gone so people can just weaponize laugh and shopcat. And if Klei deletes them, we'll just find another.

True some people use the potato cup as a dislike button these days but luckily it's somewhat countered by people trying to use it for memes.

I see though thumbs up is not negative.

Also does anyone know what the cat one means? I see that one being used in a negative way.
