I think people also need to consider that the shadow side is insanity and the lunar side is sanity i think sanity is a bit more useful so Lunar side will be great

That is one thing I worry about, if shadow side is limited to the caves, it'll be a lot less incentivizing. Might be more fitting thematically, but I don't really like staying in the caves. Too dark, and not as much interesting content as the surface.
