Trevindo Posted January 20, 2023 Share Posted January 20, 2023 Today I came to comment on the event we hosted yesterday and I spent the whole afternoon testing and having fun yesterday with my friends. My opinion is that bunnies are extremely cuddly, hitting bunnies and my friends is weirdly relaxing and the sleepover is a great addition to super foundations. The only change I would make would be the price of food from 1 coin to 3 or 4 coins, because the recipes are really good, and so I don't mind hitting 2 or 3 more rabbits to buy food.. . It seems against the nature of the game (especially for non PVP servers) to have someone spam slapping you with a pillow for no reason other than they think it's funny. For those who don’t know, the pillows hit for 0 dmg and don't take up armor durability, but it does make your character stutter and interrupt whatever action they're in the middle of. Earlier today I was trying to farm for the team and was unable to harvest crops because of a rando holding F on me. You could still get them pretty easily - all you have to do is convert monster meat into eggs, eggs into gold nuggets via Pig King, and then gold nuggets into Challenge Gloves and beat up some bunnymen - but if they cost three or four each instead of one, at least you'd need a little more monster meat than goes into a pierogi. I'm aware that events like these can be turned on in world settings when setting up a new world, but in special yearly events like these, I think all thoughts of "balancing" need to be thrown out the window. It's a special little thing to supplement gameplay that's festive and fun, so get into it and just say thank you to Klei for making them look so tasty. Fun fact: you can make them even cheaper! If you have a bunch of cutlesses lying around, you can use them on the bunnymen to retrieve the gloves you used from the previous round and reuse them. Fighting rabbits/ other players in the ring vs them slapping you to disrupt your farming/ gathering/ eating is a huge difference. Consent is important.
