  1. Rabbit home +

    Version 1.0

Rabbit home + Lets rabbits spawn new homes! Compatible with [RoG] only. Steam download link (This mod is not meant to be turned on all the time) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I have no idea if a mod like this already exists or not XD But when I tried looking for one, I couldn't find any. So I decided to make one on myself. (It literally took me like 10 minutes to script and test xD) I wanted to make this mod to be compatible with DS and SW as well, but it sadly turned out to be buggy in DS and not activate itself unless the season just changed. And I don't really have SW to know if it works there. I might update it in the future and try to make it compatible with DS and SW as well ...if... there will be a demand for it XD And as for now... I hope you'll have fun with this silly, little mod XD ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- About the mod This is just a silly, little mod which let's rabbits be able to spawn new rabbit holes. It's good for players which would like to create their own rabbit farm near their base, underground/in caves, recreate destroyed rabbit farms, or simply are feeling bored and want to see the world drown in rabbits! XD This mod has few different breeding speed settings, so you could choose the one you like the most. (Btw, The character that you can see on the picture, does not come with this mod. If you want him then you can get him here >> Back to nature ) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How it works Once this mod get's activated, rabbits will start to spawn rabbit holes in a random time. The speed in which they will be spawning new homes depends on the set speed in the "configure mod" options. Rabbits will keep on spawning new rabbit holes in every season except spring. Rabbits will be able to spawn new rabbit holes underground / in caves same as on the surface. Rabbits won't be spawning new rabbit holes if the player is too far away from them. (That's why this mod is useful only when you're trying to make a rabbit farm near your base, restore a destroyed rabbit farm, or simply derp around.) Rabbits won't spawn new rabbit holes if they are too close to other rabbit holes. You can capture rabbits and place them in any spot that you want your rabbit farm to be. Once you think you have enough rabbits, then simply turn this mod off. Differently they might eventually overpopulate the area. Keep in mind that an extreme amount of rabbits might eventually start lagging your game. (Duh... XD) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bugs Rabbits are able to spawn rabbit holes on any type of turf. This mod does not specify where the rabbits can and where they can't spawn new rabbit holes. So even if placed on stone turf, wooden boards or wherever else where they can hop around, they still will be spawning new rabbit holes. Rabbits spawn outside of the map If the rabbits are too close to the edge of the map/land, then they might spawn new ones outside of it. (If you'll encounter any other bugs or issues which are not listed here, then feel free to let me know about them)
  2. WAYNE THE RICHPicking up gold gives more sanity, and he can use gold to pickup pigs. And he finds gold more often.Using golds make him insane. He just freaking loves the shiny stuff.
  3. Wilson is left-handed, unless he is facing to the West, in which case he suddenly becomes right-handed. Dunno about the other characters.
  4. When you run from Rabbit Hole to Rabbit it's too easy to kill it, because it's running right in your way (to it's Rabbit Hole). I think it would be better if Rabbit could run away from character first, (just like Gobbler) and then — Rabbit will try to reach it's Rabbit Hole. How about that?
  5. There has been a lot of talk about adding a multiplayer or co-op mode. I’d like to give our official response to this suggestion, and clear up any confusion that people might have. As you can see from the game’s roadmap, our vision for the game does not include network play. We have promised our players an awesome single player experience, and we are devoting all of our time and resources towards fulfilling this promise. We are even committing to six months of continued support after launch, so that we can make the game even better. Don’t Starve was designed and implemented as a single-player game. At the code level, you have to do things a lot differently if you want to play over a network. If we were to implement multiplayer now, we would have to re-architect all of this code, which would have unavoidable spill-over effects for the single player experience. This would make it harder for us to fulfil the promises that we’ve made, and compromise the overall quality of the game. This is an amazing community, and we really value your feedback, as you can see from our constant updates and hotfixes. We have discussed and debated multiplayer A LOT within the studio. In the end, we have concluded that we can make a better game, and better support the community, if it remains single player. This is why we are not planning on adding multiplayer or co-op to Don’t Starve. Now let’s get on with making the best single player game we can make!
  6. Wouldn't it be useful to have some kind of pet whistle to call off your animals from an attack? Or rope a beefalo to bring it home? Leave your opinion below. I myself have lost many a small bird to were-pigs, tall birds and hounds.
  7. Bug Submission Please choose a category [Gameplay] Platform Steam Version Number - Issue title Item disappeared Steps to reproduce 4 chest, 5 Stingers in inventory go to click on the chest on the left to drop stingers in click on a different chest close to it (I clicked on the one to the right of the chest i was storing the items in) then as your dropping the item in the left chest you'll walk to the right but as you put them into the left chest click back on that quickly to open and see the stingers inside and the item 5 bee stingers went away and i didn't have them in inventory or any of the chest. Describe your issue I just went to collect stingers and was bringing them back to store them in my chest and i quickly dragged them to the 1 chest on the left the accidentally clicked to walk away to the right to a different chest immediately after i stored the stingers but i quickly clicked back on the chest that i stored the stingers in on the left and it showed them for a millisecond then they were gone right in front of my eyes. Not sure how this happened but that's pretty much how it happened.
  8. If they do, couldn't you just run with a torch and plant a ton of traps overnight? Or if they don't, just plant the traps anyway and kill one the next morning with a weapon? The new scared mechanic may not have nerfed farming as much as they'd like...
