If I recall correctly, they didn't turn out to be anything that anybody could discern. I thought I remembered there being more of it than this, but all I see is in this one here. It's about 2 seconds in, the very first transition. A similar visual effect is used throughout but this is the only one where you can see much. Changing the contrast when necessary to improve visibility.
