Aaaanywho. I don't see a point of having an ending besides if Klei decides that the game is fully finished and they're off to move on on something else.

It fits with the narrative theme of theater and every story has to end eventually, also they might want to make a sequel to DST called Don't starve 2 gether or Don't starve together: New world.

If DST were to end I would like Charlie to sacrifice herself by trapping THEM and the shadow with her forever but still keeping the survivors in the constant and Alter is still there just asleep now the constant is without ruler will it enter an era of peace and technology where everyone can be anything they want and the world is filled with lush green and amazing technology or an era of chaos and savagery where people fight to become the new ruler of the constant recruiting people who hopeless for the future can't where you can trust no one in this lonely world.

As for the actual endings listed here, I dunno.  I kinda want the "they stay in the Constant and the REAL rescue was the friends we made along the way" ending, frankly.  Charlie absorbing stuff into herself and breaking reality and all that is a bit...much.  And this is coming from someone who just repeatedly compared the Survivors to anime characters and deities.  : P

The constant is now a place where time flow but the survivors don't age with no ruler The god ( Alter ) is asleep and the devil ( THEM ) is sealed away so how would the future of constant be decided chaos or order or neutral. ( kinda like shin Megami Tensei 5 ) 

The survivors are meant to be like a local legend how the survivors never age and can be revived so they like demi-gods from the perspective of races who live in the constant like this,

I dunno about that quote from "JoeW".  I don't think he would spell "throne" as "thrown".  (Also I don't see why any of the creators of this would legit write a "LOL, ROCKS FALL, EVERYONE DIES!" ending unless they were drunk, in a really bad mood, or joking.)

Anyway, do we have to vote on only THESE endings?  They're all so weird and...mystical, oooh, symbolic, so deeeeep...I don't know how to describe it, I just don't like that kind of thing.  Why can't we just have:  The survivors stay where they are, we find out more about the Constant, but it still exists. Maybe it gets better.  Maybe we get a different ruler. But no EVERYTHING DISINTEGRATES OR MAGICALLY GOES _INSIDE_ A PERSON WHO BECOMES THE NEW UNIVERSE.  Oof.
