im a VERY simple person, what do i know about graffics? all i can tell is its brighter, like, my drawings are simple, myself is simple, and the things i belive are simple, i cant see this, nothing but it being brighter, like, what ACTUALY is the difference? the lines are the same to me, i just dont see it, i cant even see how 1 of them is blurry or not, i just cant see it, im just that simple and graffics ignorance that i just cant tell it

What we have currently is the HD flooring. It used to look a lot worse.
You can namely see it in the Carpet with its detailing.

im not a proffessional, but i reccomend you to visit a doctor, you can actually have problems with eyes

Yea so now only the actual natural ground is missing some HD touch ups to not stand out as much ^^

but to be fair, do you ever zoom in this close when you play normaly? if it was not this close, i would probalby not see it, i do see a difference on frog legs, but not on the deers exchept them being brighter, so theres that i guess

HD textures are larger images, with MANY more pixels, making the quality even far, superior.

it's not about zooming in, it's about fact that there is some 144p glommer with ULTRA HD 4K RTX chest on background

I am starting to worry that you actually do have poor eyesight and in need of decent glasses. Which makes my previous comment a little more awkward.

I notice it a lot personally from normal camera distance, it's just different for every person.

using glasses now, makes my vision worse, wich is allways weird to me, like, are they not souposed to make vision stronger? how come they make your vision worse if you dont need them? thats 1 thing that confused me about them, but that still dont change that i cant tell the difference between the 2, exchept brightnes, and normaly playing the game, i would not even care wich version it is, if its hd or not, even if i would be able to clearly tell the difference, i propably would not even care to look at it when i play the game normaly

because you need glasses according with your problem. Not using them when you need glasses can lead to worse vision problems

also, even if you use glasses, your vision can go worst or better (if the glasses helped to correct the problem) over time so you could need to change them (like me that i suppose that i need to change my glasses becase lately i dont see as good as before)

Glasses are uniquely prescribed to each and every person that needs them, if you are lacking in vision, your optometrist will help find the specific lenses for your glasses to improve your vision, . Glasses not suited to the person will worsen their vision, my glasses help me out a lot, but my friends glasses will make me into real life Wagstaff.

Speaking of Wagstaff, even DS takes that into account, any other characters that wear Wagstaff's goggles will worsen their vision :p.

Pretty sure you should talk to your doc about that.

Also depends what sort of lens type+actual eyesight issue you have, because obviously having lens for looking at longer distances won't quite help you with short distances, more over looking at literal details.

This is where I come into this thread to disagree about HD ground making the game look beautiful, if you don’t appease Ant Lion or if you frequently fight Twins- you already have a Highly Destroyed ground.. and there’s nothing at all about that that is beautiful.

(obviously this is a joke post.. meant for the haha’s)

I grew up with DOS and Playstation 1 games.

To me grainy pixel graphics is the true perfection.

There seem to be quite few games that try to emulate that style including some recent ones. It truly is the "perfection" i guess..

Tbh I can bearly tell a difference too. I think it the drawn look that makes it hard for some of us to tell.

It's the opposite, especially because of the drawn look (the black lines) you can see the difference very easy - the lines in the old versions are looking very blurry, you can't even see some of them really. In the HD versions you can see every single line, even the smallest ones. You can see more details and it is much sharper.
