Pretty good update, Loving that gold dumbell retune.The faster tool use is a nice compromise for not giving the speed boost back. Several people suggested the faster tool use but increased durability loss (i was against it lol) but nice to see it implemented regardless. Haven't really been using the forums long but i can tell already Klei reads them often. Pretty cool!

The gym minigame looks the same.  I hope we get a bit of a speed increase, its so slow waiting for it to tick back and forth, and really makes any "skill" in hitting the center meaningless... you gotta try to fail at this one XD

Hammering once turns them invisible, surely this is a bug they will fix XD

Hammering 2x gives 2 stone, 1 grass, 1 potato.  Using decon staff gives 3 stone, 2 grass, 1 potato.

very disappoint

chopping / mining is a decent replacement.  It means - even if you aren't fighting, mighty is useful, and while you don't gain movement speed, you do gain speed in actions.  It probably doesn't add up as much, but I imagine this change will let me hit up the ruins a lot quicker and easier with just a gembell.  Fighting AND mining being quicker means I get done faster.

I haven't played it yet, so I could be wrong... we'll see.

You do so little of that it's hardly anything substantial, just 3% or whatever faster early game. And that's only when you're mighty and you don't stay mighty all the time because it depletes faster when you're a little bit hungry.

also I think I may have accidentally found a bug where if the 1% and the felling of the tree is on the same hit, it will duplicate the loot. not sure, but it's worth checking out. Thanks, Klei,  love your work!

 

Edit: please keep in mind that this only happened once, I'm not exactly sure what happened...

He should be getting more downsides really, but the lack of any speed buff, even in normal mode, breaks the char.

 

They also made it unidimensional now, whereas before being normal or wimpy had some benefits (less food and better healing).

 

Now it's just being mighty all the time and pushing dumbbells.

Also: Can it be changed so that Wolfgang can carry heavy items (like large potato or Antlion Boulder) while still wearing a backpack? I think this would make up for his lack of Speed. Let him wear the pack on his back and carry the potato/Antlion Boulder in front of him with both arms as seen here:

this picture looks like he is perfectly still capable of wearing a backpack. 

Bonus points if they can be THROWN as free versions of Dumbells.

Please? My friend would love that: just hurl giant Antlion Boulder at a horde of spiders to “squish” em. Hahaha.

So they would go into hand slot, and klei will need to make 3 animations + 1 more if Wolfgang could throw. Sounds reasonable and awesome. I hope it deals 1k damage or more, or else throwing for combat is pointless.

Ahh it just turns invisible after one hit, hit it again, and yes you do get a potato :)

I dont know whos insane enough to farm boards, cut stone and rope for just two potatoes each time though

I’ll be using these to jumpstart a potato farm because Wolf still gets 40 hunger and 20 health per potato and I don’t have to rely on rng for seeds.
