HellHeater Posted February 26, 2021 Share Posted February 26, 2021 So klei does not want to make achivements which makes sense if you read this whole thread but if there is someone like me here they still want to have achivements im going to put the achivements in my mind here for those people who wants achivements Survive one year Survive 200 days Kill Deerclops Eat Deerclops eyeball Eat Ancient guardian horn Prototype everything in achemy engine Kill Bearger Kill Crab King Kill Crab King with only iriescent gems Make Bearger and Deerclops fight and help Deerclops win Feed Bearger with glow berry mousse (this one is insipired by DontStarveJazzy) Kill Ancient Fuelweaver with Wes Prototype everything in structures tab (inculdes events and ruins stuff) Make moon spiders and warrior spiders figth Kill toadstool with no cutting down his trees Craft everything in magic tab (woodie idols, abigail flower) Kill Bearger with raw potato (last hit counts otherwise this is impossible) Craft all sculptures Adopt a newborn beefalo tame feed dress kill Craft everything in dress tab Tank Ancient guardian Go suffer Survive 4999 days Never leave caves for 2 years Fully tame a Pudgy Beefalo Open every dark spot on map Burn Both types of cactus Never let Antlion attack for one year without killing Bring a slurper to surface Kill 50 shadow splumonkeys without structures Kill Enraged klaus Kill dragonfly weapon and armor only Kill a random boss with werebeaver (no treeguards) Kill a boss with end of nigh I cant think of more if you have something comment here so i can add if you did all these Ok This will be so fun for me Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mike23Ua Posted February 26, 2021 Share Posted February 26, 2021 I once came up with a whole bunch of random goals I thought might be fun ”Island of Misfit Toys” Get the Deerclops Eye, Bearger Fur, Malbatross Beak, & Ancient Guardians horn and take them to Pearls Island Sure it’s random as heck- but it also tells other players you killed Deerclops, Bearger, Malbatross, Ancient Guardian, And found Pearls Island all within one achievement (Just like the one in Batman Arkham Knight what the butler saw: perform a 400 hit combo without getting hit & without using any bat-gadgets) Achievements are a way to get people to do things and play in a way that they may have otherwise not have. Some folks don’t see the point in them, but they have their purposes. Such as the one in Spelunky where you get a key in the first level and carry that key all the way to the second to last level so you can actually unlock the “True” last level of the game.. My point is instead of making fun of achievements- they should be entertaining, rewarding & fun. the XBOX version of some games even have something called “Achievement Rewards” these are special ones that once unlocked- Also unlock cool “gifts” like a Avatar hat/shirt or pet for your Xbox One Avatar to show off. Things like Cyclum & Metheus Puzzle, and special Vignettes that can’t be woven and must be Unlocked through doing X in-game task (or tasks..) The problem with all that is: it takes away from time the devs could be doing more awesome updates, and that’s why they Opt not to put more attention into it. In any case I'll look into and try your challenge, seems fun to break the routine, even tho yeesh, someone are only slow and annoying. We have too a sorta of achievements in the game, we built a room for it Pratically we "claimed" the statues as achievements and it boils down to only boss fights. You obtain: -Bronze (the marble statue) ; The boss just needs to be dead, doesn't matter how. -Silver (the cut stone statue) ; The player needs to kill the boss from the start (if it is already damaged you can't obtain silver), it doesn't matter how, expect from one rule. The methods to kill him must be by players and NOT by other creatures OR via structures (this can change since defeating a boss while riding a beefalo is okay or putting 2 or 3 catapults during the fight is okay too, since an ability of Winona) -Platinum (the glass statue) ; The player needs to kill the boss from the start (if it is already damaged you can't obtain platinum), the methods to kill him must be by players and NOT at all by other creatures OR by structures and only 1 player can participate the fight. How this hurts so much, apart from the fact we're still all good and talk each other. I teached Don't Starve to 20 people and only 4 remain, 3 atleast played 1 year and all the other leaved to play the same rainbow six siege, apex legends, cod, ecc.... i guess don't starve type games are not for everybody, although it can be caused too by the same problems the game have.
