But yeah, we all should agree that 'if one game had many content updates, they must also update the user interface (at least once)'. Maybe one day that mod will be a "must have" if we want to experience the 'future features'.

What if vests AND bags become so good that you just can't choose what to use?

 

TL;DR Yeah, i really think you could craft the slots.

 It's not like the game doesn't have very good cheap items

This is gonna end up making people not use them for the same reason as Hamlet's Vortex Cloak. If they have slots then you can't carry them, meaning you either wear them or leave them.

Backpack+being able to use armor 24/7 or cloth is op

I would certainly use the bear vest if it had half the slots of a normal backpack, not all the time but I wouldn't just make it as a trophy and leave it to rot in a chest.

 

I doubt I'd use any of the other outfits even if they had pockets though.

I don't really believe anyone uses vests. It's really not worth it to make.

Like the other comments says thermal stones are overpowered. With a thermal stone and torch, you can pass winter really easy. It should be nerfed. I'm not sure about summer bc I prefer caves.

About pocket, it's smart and making sense. But I think maximum amount of slots should be two, not four.

Or they could just add a pouch system to the game. Player could craft a pouch (with pig skin and a rope I think) and be able to sew it into vests with sewing kit.

Breezy Vest's maximum pouch capacity should be 2, Puffy Vest's should be 4.

I do use puffy vests 1/3rd of the time. Hibearnation vest is great (especially on Warly/Wolfgang/Wes). Rain coat is also great (since only 1 deerclops per year in pubs). Floral shirt is my go to in summer.

I ditch the backpack even more if I am given chester.

 

You don't need the 6 slots usually, depends on your plan.

If you free roam to hoard, that probably warrants a backpack.

Only one person can have that, and that person is Wigfrid who just joined the server 5 minutes ago and is going to disconnect with it still in their inventory in 10 minutes.

So I did try the rain coat, puffy vest and floral shirt. The time difference before you freeze, overheat, etc. is noticable, but after 1500 hours using backpacks, it dróve me mad. I felt constantly annoyed by not having that 1,2,3 slots and I had to manage my chests even more than before.

Sadly I can't go back from those backpack slots, but atleast i tried. *laugh*
