Giving the cracked pearl, the one you receive after beating up Crab King, to Pearl makes her sad.

Whether or not that is a good thing depends on your stance on Pearl's tasks. The community appears to  generally agree that this is a good thing.

Considering it gets used up if you want to challenge suped up crabking and you can't ever get another in the same world it shouldn't have additional effects/uses. It serves one purpose then breaks when it's used for that purpose. It serves a sort of lore purpose more than anything, Pearl gives it to you to show her husband thinking it might help but he's too far gone and she is upset when you give her back the cracked pearl.

The farm pages for both wikis are literally identical. They're both for the DSA version and they both have this as the first text at the top of the page.

If your playing DST with a full server of players, what determines Deerclops spawn method?

I see players complain often about the Eye of Terror and Twins of Terror spawning on a random player.. but how is Deerclops any different from that?

from what i recall she's also completely random, but unlike the eyes her fight isn't limited to the nighttime, and she is arguably easier to kill.

deerclops spawn on people that have structure on screen. as she spawn she didnt attack player but run to destroy nearest structures.

as far as i know placing sign (structure item) near to lure them is possible. if there multiple people near structure. it can be random i think. since the trigger is before the first growl . who ever heard it first they got it even tho they were running out to safety.

You don't go out of your way to spawn deerclops, except when you do with a hostile flare I think he does spawn on you (lol).

You can't make one- there used to be a whole subforum, like each game has one, but it was closed. No matter what forum you made an off-topic thread it would be off-topic itself and up for closing.

I don't know what chances we have of ever getting an off-topic section, but I wouldn't count on it. The next best place would be Discord, I suppose

Shopcat is originally from another one of Klei’s games, Invisible Inc.

It’s a turn based stealth game where you regularly make use of hacking tools to take control of cameras, drones and other such things.

Shopcat is the anonymous persona of a special vendor that carry’s a larger stock of said hacking tools.

Does anyone on these forums actually play Minecraft?

I haven’t played it in awhile but yesterday I decided to give it another go.

And to my surprise the game has changed ALOT… it now has a “Journal” just like DST that fills in craftables as you encounter resources & unlock new recipes.

This isn’t the ONLY Similarities Minecraft now has a new resource called “Copper” that creates Animal Brushes & Lightning Rods.

Is it possible that Klei’s Ideas for DST are finally starting to influence development of the juggernaut that is Minecraft??

What are you on about? The recipe book was added several years ago and lightning rods are a pretty common thing and made from gold in dst and not from copper
