So i was playing the smith bar brawl, i closed it and then came back by pressing continue in the main menu and i was out here

who here wants to start speculating what this mean?

That was my first thought too. If not Hesh, then its cousin.

There are a lot of white/electric blue buildings, which I assume are Heshian related. Maybe the one on the left is a cathedral or HQs of sorts.

I’m hoping the vat-like things on the bottom left are Bilebroker related.

Might just be a derrick, with vats of lumin. So I'm all in on the Heshian area.

Really like that map design. For whatever reason, it reminds me of Banner Saga despite being a completely different style lol.

I noticed a lot of sailor talk in the Sal run so we might find the sailing aspects in this run.

Based on this art and what we've seen in other campaigns, I'm going to guess there's going to be conflicts between the Heshians and the Jakes in Smith's route. Unless of course there's another faction in all this, or this route doesn't follow the faction war concepts from Sal and Rook's routes.

So the term Pearl-on-Foam has come up before in the game, if you spare Fellomo Kalandra suggests he retire to "the Foam" if he plays along peacefully. Makes me wonder what other references to Smith's campaign are already in the game.

I was inclined to think it wasn't lumin, since lumin is a very different color (bright light blue, as seen in Sal's enhancements and Rook's pistols). But taking a look at the full-res image, I see a lot of these vats, and they do seem to be the same color as the tissue of the exploded jellyfish. So maybe that's the color of lumin before it's refined, and the floating platforms are the derricks.
