So. I took a long break from Griftlands.

Well, for my standards, anyways.

I came back today, and decided to finish a meme run I've been working on for a long time - "Scrookge." The rules were:

1) If you can get shills, you must get shills. Never let an opportunity to get shills pass by. Applies to perks, too - grab shilling perks like the two item perks. This means that yes, TURN DOWN ALL GRAFTS, EVEN BOSS GRAFTS.

2) You must never, ever, ever, ever, ever spend shills. No. No exceptions. Nada.

Here's some stuff from a successful Scrookge run.

I beat day 2 with just over 2k shills, and 1 health. Not close at all!

That's some nice damage. It would be a shame if anyone were to stun you.

Yeah, I was on low HP a lot. Couldn't buy anything to restore it. Anyways, I was carried by several Bog Downs.

Fun fact, during this fight, the bog monster did something It'd never successfully done to me before - eat my cards. Yeah, didn't kill the burrs in time. It was... cripplilng. also low health.

Full stats. If you're wondering why my stats' shill-counts and why my UI shill counts are different, I geniunely do not know.

I started this run like, two months ago, and didn't finish it until now. I've forgotten a lot of things.

I think I lost some shills to admiralty, which is losing shills, but not spending shills, so I'll ignore that and just say that I got almost 4000 shills and that I really want to see people giving this a go. It's a really fun challenge.

 

Anyways, now that I'm back, expect more stupid schenanigens soon.
