Junksteel
Hi, I'm running 4 Ethanol Distillers for the first time and I stumbled at piles and piles of polluted dirt coming from them. I have 12 composters being used and they aren't catching the production. What you guys are doing to get rid of it? Ignoring it and leaving it on the ground isn't my favourite option. goboking
I haven't tried ranching poke shells yet, but I believe they turn the stuff into sand. bobucles
Will sage hatches finally have a use? Too bad no crop types use polluted dirt. lunazone
Composts turn it into normal dirt, which is this game's gold Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/109083-ethanol-distiller-how-to-get-rid-of-polluted-dirt/#findComment-1228868 Share on other sites
Promethien
Between ethanol and pips (when they get fixed to start pooping) Sage Hatches are looking very nice. Will probably end up having two full ranches of them. Now that we don't need peppers for BBQ meat is going to be top notch kcal production. Just scale up with more compost heaps would be my advice. Since you enjoyed the chill pill, this is your chance to make the ultimate dirt cooker. You just have to combine duplication, rails, auto miners, and then make it efficient enough to waken @Saturnus to perfect it. Research, fertilization of some plants, and fertilizer makers all use dirt. bobucles
19 minutes ago, Junksteel said: Why is dirt so valuable? Someone can remind me? Dirt translates directly into food supply for the colony. Dirt was very precious earlier because it was difficult to produce and the biggest source of dirt came from the starting spawn. Don't be surprised if the ethanol distiller sees more balance changes. The new toys make dirt far more abundant and renewable, but if it's a bit much it will likely be toned down. nivodeus
that being the case, how do you deal with the heat from them? especially from the 75 degree of the output ethanol? Just directly use it on Pet Gen? ive been using the ethanol lake currently but it will run out eventually. And now that grooming is 15% faster & also lasts 2-3x as long. (2.1x with a level 11 rancher 3x with level 20) Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/109083-ethanol-distiller-how-to-get-rid-of-polluted-dirt/#findComment-1229145 Share on other sites
