Why my auto sweeper is not working?

So - if the wheezes don't overcool themselves while the volcano is dormant

Here's the over/under on that. If your wheezeworts turn brown before your volcano erupts, you need to quadruple the size of your cooling chamber, plaster the backdrop with tempshift plates, and re-pressurize with hydrogen again.

If they stifle again before the volcano erups, you need to double it again.

Point is, 12 wheezeworts is only good enough if they never stop working even during the dormancy period. To keep them from stifling, you will need a much larger heat buffer. If your wheezeworts stifle from cold halfway through the dormancy period, you either need to double the heat capacity of your cooler (tempshift plates and H2 mass), or double the number of wheezeworts.

Personally I've never direct cooled a volcano like this, I always surround it by vacuum and insulate the whole chamber, then siphon off just the amount of molten metal I need into a spot cooler.

I like submerging the whole thing in a coolant like petroleum or supercoolant

a single aquatuner can keep it cold

my sweeper can grab the gold directly from the tap, it's never molten

changing the connection between the ports had no results.

Show us the screen shot of your new transport layout. Or upload a save file.

I suspect that you lack the required knowledge to build a transpot system. Don't run from your problems.

By the way, using wheezewort to cool a metal volcano is not a wise idea.

I didn't even know what a super coolant was.... lol

Anyways, I'm not that close to space travels in this playthrough.

@Neotuck I really liked your design... it's simple and elegant. I'll try it out as soon as I have some super coolant.... I still have 2 more gold volcanos to explore in this map.

Thank you all!

It looks like you have a single shipping rail from the top loader, down through the bottom loader into the receptacles.  Then another email from the bottom sweeper to the bottom receptacles.

The way it's setup in the OP it will load material into the top loader and flow on the rail to the top receptacles. You can see they are all full. The bottom sweeper won't move them to the bottom loader because the receptacles are higher priority. However, if you make the bottom loader priority higher, the sweeper will load it and the gold will flow right back to the same receptacles since that's the only output for that rail.

Loaders are used to add material to a rail and then receptacles are where they exit the rail. Sweepers only move stuff from receptacles to loaders. You need to run the rail around the bottom loader down to the bottom receptacles. Then run a rail from the bottom loader down to the bottom receptacles.

it also works with petroleum

How cold does it go?
