GuacBoy
I feel like they're a bit overwhelming personally. The deep rainforest is by far the largest non-Town biome (on average) and with Pogs, Dung Beetles and more running around, it's really not difficult for the Snaptooths to venture out of their home biomes. They multiply incredibly quickly and feed off each other's deaths in the wild, and they start really plentiful as well. Some other thoughts about them that I saw on Reddit here:
CrimXane
Too laggy when there are tier 5 and are 10 on screen Also really useful, the sticking stick is really useful and has decent durability I would say they are a buffed mosquitos of Hamlet
_midnightrain_
I like them, they are interesting, the feeding mechanic is cool, the nectar to honey stuff is really nice and the stalking stick is really useful. It prevents me from starting a game as default in shipwrecked or in rog winter just that I can have a early walking cane. And oddly it seems that I'm one of the few persons who have very little trouble with lags. At least as long as reaload my game about once every about 15-20 days. And thats completly fine. Szczuku
Flytrap invasion is deffinitelly a thing. This is how devs should fix it (although I agree that seasons could get a little rework) Rabid Bettles. These are the deadliest creatures in the entire game. Devs need to make glowlies (and therefore bettles) come back every season. Because as of now after the 1st temperate season they don't spawn anymore. If devs make them come back and also make beetles consume meat as soon as it's on the ground (basically like flytraps), we could have a beetles vs flytraps battles every year durring humid season. That way they'd controle each other and save other species from extinction (maybe). And in case every Flytrap is whiped out by bettles the world would check if every rainforest has at least 1 flytrap in it and if it doesn't the world would spawn

They are aggressive and will attach anything. They don't eat meat at the last stage. Wait i think they even attack butterflies and make a farm. Atsumame
Make the flytraps only be able to spawn seedlings on jungle turf and make jungle turf digable for good measure too. To avoid over concentration of flytraps in one spot: make a rule that when a seedling take root to become a flytrap, it can only do so within a set radius away from another flytrap. And that there is only 3 seedling per flytrap until they take root or are killed.
Pagox
They feel bit like vanilla spider dens. And spiders loved to eat all meat of their fallen spiders too.
Yokoblue
I've got multiple games over 100 days and I've never run into this problem. The beedles are never respawning after 1 cycle(after 1 year) but my hanging vines survived, my monkeys mostly survive unless i kill a good portion of em. I LOVE the flytrap mechanics, i think its by far the best addition they did to the game. They tend to stay around the same area though, i've never had them pursue me far away (and i run away from them often or go kill some for the walking cane) Beedles do need a way to respawn, ive also had 1-2 game where if i kill 2-3 monkeys, the couple left can get killed by other stuff if they are closeby or if they relocate because i've destroyed the cocoon trees. Wyulliam
I think we should be able to pet Flytraps, just like the Venus Flytrap Check my suggestion thread:
Mday
Usually I just grab a hambat and kill all the flytrap, except one. Lure the surviving one to a corner and feed it 4 meats so the species dont go extinct. It is not as bad as say trying to clear the swamp in ROG. Quote .......There's no threat And the same thing can be said about ROG too. If you kill all the spiders and etc there won't be much left that can pose a threat, except the seasonal boss/heat which by now everyone knows how to deal with. So I guess if you wana keep the game challenging, you simply should avoid unnecessary killing. Personally I think the biggest issue with Hamlet is that, it is not a world you want to settle down and build your 1000+ days base with. Your base option is very limited. Rocks cannot be obtained by large quantities. No reliable ways to get woods in large quantities. The store sell you boss items that can't be used in crafting. The house's interior is small and limiting. It is pretty clear to me that I am suppose to just kill the bosses, build the skyworthy and move on to SW/ROG where I can actually enjoy the end game. Hamlet is just a place where you can sell off extra nightmare fuel or tooths in exchange for boss items e.g scales. If any dev is reading this. I hope there will be a way to expand the house's interior. May be a bigger house, or room expansion looking like the current cave/ruin in Hamlet. (maybe the snapdragon-thing is like it?)
