Full Moon

Recommended Posts

Now I'd put it in the suggestions thread but I really want more people to see this.

Pigs should turn into werepigs durring full moon. Not some pikos that most players wont even notice.

I'm sure that every single one of beta testers have spent their 1st full moon in the city and even if noone admits I know that you died a little inside when nothing happened.

What I think should happen durring full moon is that guards pull out their weapons instead of torches and turn into werepigs. But not regular werepigs cuz Hamlet pigs are bigger than regular pigs. These werepigs would run on all 4s and carry weapon in their hands. They'd also have armor and hat but armor would be teated with holes in it.

That way players can't simply sit in the city farm money and buy stuff.

Same goes for Wilba. Everyone expected something durring full moon. If you planed to copy other characters' s perks then you should've copied woodie not webber. So here's the idea: durring full moon she turns into werepig dropping her current hand slot, getting weak nightvision (in case she's in the ruins) her basic attacks do more dmg, her hunger drains faster and since she doesn't like night and all that stuff she'd instantly go 0 sanity. But unlike Woody she wouldn't loose any time after transformation

I'm assuming something happened to the pigs in the ROG world for them to transform a curse is the likely cause as they are more primitive than the HAM pigs not to mention that would be annoying maybe pogs could change too and be more dangerous in that form.

But...Kris said that the Hamlet pigs are immune to the full moon curse. And I wanna know why.

Also if Wilba were to be affected as well during the aporkalypse she'd be unplayable. Because that's every night's a full moon night, but it's also ALWAYS NIGHT!! The same sort of thing would apply for all of the other denizens of Hamlet.

...even though it doesn't give us the benefits of the full moon light. :wilson_cry:

Maybe something like the new moon mechanic in DST, except with a full moon? You know what I'm referring to, yeah? :wilson_curious:

They are smart pigs right... so what if they did stuff to counter going all wolf crazy.

Maybe on a full moon all the pigs go inside and lock the doors including guards.  If left alone everything is fine.

But if the player stands too close to a house for too long the werepig will smash out and go crazy. This could include letting out other pigs.

I do think we need something. The town has no danger.

I may have a less popular opinion, but I think the safety of town is balanced by the face that nothing is safe outside of town, and in order to play Hamlet, you do have to leave town.

ETA: for example, you can't make bases with chests or the pogs will rummage throug them.  Weevils eat stuff you leave on the ground.  Some difficulty is heightened in the rest of the world.

Actually you can.

Also, Pogs can't rummage through cork barrels (but they only have four item slots.)

I know, but why would you make them if you can have the better alternative with 9 slots hidden inside a 100% safe&weather proof cave/temple :^)

agreed.  Also, I tend to get a house and store everything inside.

That works too i guess, tho as a Webber player i avoid pig cities

You only really need to visit the palace once to trade the scepter/crown for the key to the city. Then you can build your house wherever you like :)

I should have guessed, based upon your avatar.  I go back and forth from Wickerbottom and Warbucks.

I would have to get some oincs to build it, which means I would have to trade with some pigs.

I usually live far away from the city so it would be a day wasted on getting there :(

I usually play Wickerbottom when I want to check out what's new
