For those that see Shipwrecked - Can you confirm that you both have Hamlet in your DLC list as well as are on the Hamlet test branch and have followed the directions here?

We have completed sending out the game to everybody. If you own Don't Starve on Steam and signed up for the beta, you should now be able to follow the instructions below to play.

there should be a comment saying that your saves are okay in another folder of the game, just for no problems of course

It's a beta testing. of course you lose everything cause it's not your real folder/progress. your folder and all your progress will be back to normal once you opt out of the hamlet beta testing.
