What are your ideas to make late-game less predictable (if you think so)

Heya everybody! So I really want to get back into this game. Thing is, once you get to late-game it gets a little too predictable in my opinion, and that sorta bothers me. What I want is for random events to start happening that affect the asteroid/playstyle, like drifting away from a sun, blah blah blah I've said this a million times XD. So what are your ideas, my fellow like-minded fellows (if you exist)

Critter breeding season: makes critters of all variants breed like NUTS, giving the player incredible income of food, but also a huge nuisance as the breeding season critters can pass through or break doors.

Geyser eruptions: all uncovered geysers for a limited time will output 10x their output, without any downtime. This would be a huge boon and/or nightmare, as it would put any geyser-based builds to the extreme test.

Solar flare: not heatwave, but EMP. Knocks out power requiring buildings and batteries temporarily over a several cycle period. Heavy test on how failproof a players food and oxygen buffer system is.

Outbreak: most people wouldn't like this one, but the idea is slimelung suddenly spreads like wildfire, over every surface, breeding in the air. Food poisoning would extremely quickly rot any food contaminated, and any food not stored in chlorine or below -10 is vulnerable. This would be a heavy test on a players ability to contain disease, and bunker up while curing dupes, relying on their power and oxygen supply to keep itself going for a few days or a week.

Asteroid Belt: suddenly, meteors 24/7. Non-stop meteors, and not just the normal ones, theses ones would be MASSIVE, big enough to eventually break/damage bunker doors/tiles. They wouldn't be hot meteors, as this scenario is to simulate our home asteroid bumbling through a belt of other big rocks. Possibly have impacts appear deeper in the asteroid, below the outer layer.

Ice comet season: A huge comet appears in the background and you get literally bombarded with ice asteroids that cool down the surface and fill it with polluted ice.

Magma surge: Magma levels rising in the magma biome with really high pressure so it breaks into the oil biome. You`d have to seal off some areas so it doesn`t all fry into sour gas.

Satelite crashes: A satelite comes down and crashes into the asteroid like a meteor but could do damage to bunker tiles if it hits them. Could contain recharges for the brain thingy.

I just wanted to say that these are some gosh darn fantastic ideas. My only one is asteroid drifting closer/farther from a sun, causing heat gain/loss in the asteroid. 

My main issue with the game right now is that there is almost no rng past the world gen. It gets too rinse-repeaty for me. All of this I think would make for some cool and interesting challenges for the player to go through.

1st world was average. 2nd was cold surface etc.

it might be cool if there is a normal season (the one you start with)

then a season where your asteroid is close to the sun and all the byomes heat up so to keep plants alive you have to use cooling items, and you have to keep your rockets in check so the fuel does not explode, this being said all items that are flammable could catch fire if not cooled, and vents (geysers) will be active more frequently. the space background would be the sun and more light will be shining at your meteor

and then after that season your asteroid flys away from the sun and every thing cools down from the last byome and you have to keep every thing warm, if you dont keep things warm stuff can get freeze damage, vents will be less active and ice meteors a will crash into your asteroids. the background would be deep space and you will get less to no light 

after that your asteroid will go into a meteor belt and meteors will be more frequent crashing into your asteroids the background would be meteors flying around

that really makes my idea a whole lot more realistic. I really like it!

Someone please make a mod where the "celebration" emote for all dupes when research is completed into a dab. 

Also - for really hardcore mode:
add Inspect command,
limit information,
make overlays function only if infrastructure is set up/ duplicant is inspecting it right now (Inspecting! Not wandering around!)

New area! Great! But i don't know what gas/temperature it has.
Pipes are not working. Too bad i see only areas inspected by dupes right now and covered by sensors.
Etc.

Edit: And imagine if devs would add event that could bring you an alien-like creature with an asteroid. It gets in, but you dont know this yet. A breach is discovered, but you dont know: creature type, their number and location. And you must send someone to fix the broken thing. It would be a game to remember... :)

Give us FIRE :) ...Combustion, explosions, firefighters, doctor job, insulated doors, being able to activate random events with dangerous consequences at world seed generation & the Atomic Age ( Radioactivity/Reactor/Rods/Kaboom ). Thank you.

I feel like that idea needs a bit of thinking but I think is executed correctly it could be cool!
