Rocketry - storage compactors priority problems

Hi all

testing new update (without debug) and have strange issue - dupes ignore storage compactors, they not "feed" them even when i have 6-7 idle dupes that talk at work time near compactors with resources on floor.

I have different compactors for algae, slime, dirt, and dupes not put more than 50-90 kg, after that - totally ignore compactors. I try "9" priority, sweep, etc - no effect. 

Same thing happened to me its like the compactors are in "Sweep Only" mode even though the option is not ticked. Dupes only used the compactors when you tell them to sweep the area. Also be careful when your click-dragging your mouse while adjusting the schedules cause if your mouse just misses the boxes you might trigger a black hole.

Strange that so trivial to detect and so critical for gameplay issue not fixed before launch test branch - with not working storages and autosweeprs game really not work.

All dig / resource /production / automation activities based on moving resources in/out storages - now it not work, - so first version of test branch totally unplayeble........... :(

Well, not unplayable, but certainly annoying enough to me to not play until it's fixed. Kinda sad, I wanna go get me some space cows...

As most long term time members have found that ever since they shut down closed beta testing before an upgrade launch people should generally stay well away from the first week of preview branches. No matter how tempting they may be.

Indeed. Dupes going into idle instead of tidying is definitely a bug. It also is a hint that the planning engine in ONI is pretty complicated and not very robust. Not criticizing, there may just not be a fundamentally better way to do this.

Yep. I knew it could happen going in. But now it's (mostly, they seem to only supply 1 tile worth of construction per trip now instead of the 4 or so I'm used to) fixed and I'm back to playing ONI instead of Persona 5.
