Wendy has 150, Wes' max is 113.

And the lower damage isn't really that bad. In most cases it just results in one additional hit. It's not really that noticeable unless you're fighting something with a lot of health. Besides, newer players are more likely to avoid combat as much as possible anyway, so they might just forget about her singular downside entirely.

But to take it seriously, just as our Dapperbeak friend said, beginners don't fight that much, but if they do, Abigail is pretty helpful in most cases. She is strong enough to kill some spiders or the hounds during an attack, and those are the most important parts of combat for newbies. 

So in my opinion, new players can concentrate on other things instead of combat if they play Wendy, this way helping them to learn the game faster.

Idk man, technically you're right but in practice she seems noticeably really weak. This 25% less dmg really translate into a 50% less efficacy. It takes more time to kill, so there is more opportunity to get hit, you need to heal more because the HP bar goes down faster. I can't even imagine Wes and Maxwell

Because usually when a thread is inactive for a month, it means that the conversation is either resolved or simply no longer interesting. You necroing a thread is just bringing content we don't care about anymore to our attention, and it's really annoying.
