Next html fasioned puzzle

Well, there'd need to be a trailer, which would mean at the earliest it'd probably be during the next forge-like event. However, there's certainly no guarantee of one even then, since the event -itself- already provides a good hunk of lore and goodies in itself; adding extra isn't really needed. Not like updates to the normal game where doing a lore drop kinda necessitated stuff like puzzles.

What lore does Forge actually add? it's all meaningless.

I mean I guess if you call learning about previous civilizations that used to live in the "Constant" (the new official name for the world the survivors are stuck in) who used to be reliant on the power of the nightmare throne and the ancient's scepter, before one day they were cut off and abandoned in a connected world... as "meaningless", then OK, I guess you're free to pick and choose what kind of lore you care about? Until now we didn't really know anything from before Max/Charlie got pulled in other than what's in the ancient's murals. And we know it's going somewhere, since Charlie is very clearly setting it all up on purpose.

Also got a few snippets in the vignettes about how the various characters view their situation of being trapped in the Constant, and about the pigs being from a different world (as was already foreshadowed with the announcement of Hamlet). Nothing groundbreaking, but it's certainly neat.

Learning what? There's literally nothing.

They gave a few buzzwords, there is literally no lore from the Forge at all.

Sigh...

The Dev Stream that dropped with the update gave us more information than the entirety of the Metheus puzzle. For a good 5 years (cheeky new year ploy) we have just assumed that the DS realm is like a stage for Them. Now we know that there are multiple realms scattered everywhere with the DS realm being one of the most... pure (untainted to an extent, leaves room for growth and isn't just a molten hell hole)? The Hub most likely refers to the Throne Room, aka Their realm. Finally, the Forge in itself is a huge lore based event. What did Pugna mean by lapdogs of the throne? The survivors came there on their own. Could there be a war brewing in the background? Will the curiosity of our dear survivors actually cause them to obliterate multiple realms across many layers of dimensions all for Charlie? If you really think there was no lore from the Forge, you really didn't bother to look...

This sums it up. This is literally more lore than the last puzzles.

Klei doesn't use buzzwords. Ever. Everything has a meaning. Symbolism exists, yknow.

I Would really like to see next Cyclum-like puzzle, revealing a little bit of history, and rewarding us with something.

From what I see, there is one html-fashioned puzzle released per year,so I am pretty sure that It's going to be released soon... very soon...
