Need advice for selling

Recommended Posts

Wait wait wait,

First of all, there are 5 rarities of skins:

  1. Common
  2. Classy
  3. Spiffy
  4. Distinguished
  5. Elegant

And now questions :

1. If you traded up 9 spiffys, you should get Distinguished, right? Well, maybe you meant 9 Distinguished ...

2. ... but as I remember, you can't trade up distinguished rarity skins, do you? Take it this way - You buy from the market 9 distinguished for e.g. 0.30$ each, that's 2,70$ for all. And you trade up for an elegant skin worth 6$. This would be infinite profit.

Well, maybe I'm just stupid, and I don't remember well, then there were no questions.

if you trade up 9 spiffy items, you have a chance to get either distinguished (high chance) or elegant (low chance) items

Or take that you get an elegant worth less than a dollar... so one must be very-very lucky to actually get a profit.

You have a chance for Elegant for turning in any rarity of skins. The chance is just better the rarer it is, and nearly non-existent for commons.
