Do you like these ideas and think that they should be added to the game?

I thought of a cool weapon that Klaus could drop: Klaus' claws

They would basically look like Klaus' hands and they would do a lot of damage and would be able to also chop down trees

And when you attack with them they will deal damage twice and when chopping down trees they would swing twice as fast

Now on to the other idea for planting mushtrees

I thought that you could use the spores that mushtrees make when blooming and plant them on other trees ( because mushtrees are actually regular trees that are infected with a fungal parasite)

The mushtrees on the other hand, I would like that when chopped, but when you don't diggup the stump, it would eventually regrow

I think that's what happens either way currently though.

There was something similar to this in a Minecraft mod, if I remember correctly.  Not sure if that's where you got your inspiration.

I'm not really sure how I feel about it, on the one hand it would be a seasonal only item and a boss drop at that.  On the other hand, it just seems a bit odd as I don't believe there is any other instance of a combat item that is also a tool like this.  It could be interesting, but I'm not quite sold.

Hrm.  Not sure about this one either, as mushtress aren't actually regular trees infected with fungus like you present, but actually oversized mushrooms.  As of Reign of Giants, during a full moon, mushrooms can turn into mushtrees.  So this wouldn't quite make sense.

I thought maybe they were because wickerbottom said they where

And the reason I thought that mushtrees weren't renewable was because that's what it said on the wiki

No I didn't get my inspiration from a minecraft mod it actually just popped into my head

Mushtrees are a light source, so being able to easily decide where to plant them would undermine Mushlights and Glowcaps.

They are renewable in DST through Regrowth .
