Just an hour ago, a friend of mine told me the meaning of the rifts, and I understood their plot. Actually, it's not bad, I would even make a funny post about it.

Bosses count. You can't deny them in the rifts just because they're the bosses)

But bosses are different from mobs. Unlike mobs, you're less likely to run into them during day-to-day to survival, and in the scrapbook, their placed in the giants category, not mobs. When I think of rift mobs, I think of creatures like the ink trio, brightshades, rictus, mimics, or void masques, monsters you'll commonly see when the rifts are open.

Yes, they are different. But the rifts themselves have a different direction, where in some you encounter enemies, and in the second you pay more attention to bosses and battles with them. But in my opinion, the lunar rifts still lack mobs, I hope in addition to the new gestalt we will get an alternative wave of Deadly Brightshade and mobs associated with the lunar hail.

This isnt true, these options were added because players wanted to be able to defeat these bosses without activating the rifts on that especiific moment, removing this options wouldnt change anything and it was never said it was a temporary solution for anything. The rifts for the moment they were added had an option to manually turn them off.

This paints a picture of the situation that only generates negativity and hostility in the comunity without adding anyhting because its false.

But I do remember them saying they would remove those once they got around implementing more content for post rifts.

I sort of remembered that as well, so i checked the vod for the dev stream of taking root when they first showcased the feature, and they didnt say anything about it.

Funny enough, i do remember a post around the time that probably was by the same "dissinforming 2 years in row" guy, complaining about this topic and asking if it was temporary, proabbly snowfalled into people beleiving that was the case.

Seven years since I last laid eyes upon this thread.

I grew up in this thread. I was molded by this thread. A good chunk of my young teens…were this thread.

I dare not look back too far at my terrible posts. Our pasts were never meant to be revisited. They only cause pain.

I naturally assumed this place eventually died a peaceful death along with my leave.

When I came here today as a nostalgic trip…I noticed that this thread continued at the EXACT same pace since my leave, and time built up.

The closest way to describe the emotion I feel…is fear.

I'm sure I am not the first ancient to return, and I wont be the last.

But I assume many of you are in the same shoes I was back then, to which I assure you, you could be in much worse places than a video game forum you’ll probably be fine.

With this I bid farewell once more. We may meet again one day, or we might already have. It’s a very small world.
