Syndir turned his head towards Kate, "Say pal, you don't look so good."

"It isn't my place to say, but I would try and rest. All powerful goddess or not, your human avatar is still rather fragile—not that I'm saying you're weak, but you don't want to exceed your vessel's limit. Forgive my blatant and disrespectful mannerism."

(Let me guess, the one he's following is Meri, who has a lot of pint up aggression from being abnormally "smol" for one of his species and enjoys taking it out on the humans because it makes him feel large and powerful for a change.)

Kate looks up at Syndir, then slumps back in her chair, crossing her arms and pouting.

"She's been getting really bad nightmares pretty much every time she sleeps, so she's been trying to avoid it as much as she can." Kade explains, "She's also afraid of accidentally setting something on fire, as her powers tend to act up when she's fightened or panicked."

Why wasn't she sweet? What kind of question was that? Were there other dragons he encountered that were sweet? And how would he know what she tasted like when his mouth hadn't come into contact with her? Did humans peoples secretly have taste receptors on their hands or the tops of their heads? Dragon was so confused...

Both sibling's expressions darkened. There was a long moment of solemn silence before Kade finally said anything.

"... There was... an accident. She was there, but doesn't remember anything but tiny bits and fragments, except during her nightmares. We'd rather not talk about it."

Kate was staring down at the floor, not really looking at anything.

"What ever isn't brought to peace in this world will haunt you in the land of the sleep. It isn't my business so I won't pry, but consider those words."

He paused, seemingly as if he was going to stop, but then added,

"I could try and make a dreamcatcher. They act as a net and catch nightmares before they can enter one's mind. It very well might help you get some much needed rest."

(*pats Dara*)

Kate's eyes widened with interest, and she nodded enthusiastically.

"We should take care of Wiffleball first though." Kade pointed out, drawing attention to the lumps of nightmare fuel he held. Oh! That's right, how could Kate have forgotten? They needed to help the poor sick pup.

The dragon was a little disapointed the leg magic didn't work on Trevor humans. Maybe humans peoples were immune to it. She limped over to the new creature and sniffed it. Would the leg magic work on this one?

"But you said..." Viridis stopped, and started agreeing with Silven. "You know... you are right. Why not make... it hurt bad once, to be freed from it faster?" she turned back to his wings, and studied them carefully. She took a good note of their shape and size in comparison to Silven's body, and where they were located. "Hmm... there is something I wanted to... try out for a while. I would like to... ex-piri... mant." She stood next to him, opened her claws widely and started concentrating. In a few minutes, little stumps which seemed to be made out of wood started growing just above her shoulderblades. She wiggled them around a little bit, and turned her back to Silven for him to look at them. "Does this... look like the right... position? For wings. " she asked.

Silven noted the other Markless one that was smelling him for some reason but didn't ask why as he looks at Markless Viridis wing position. "Yes, they look in the right position. I am not sure what your body density is so you may need bigger wings then me depending on this. But an experiment is all about guess work while slowly leading to a finished result! That is fascinating though that you could change yourself so fast, how long would you estimate that fully functional wings could be made?" he was marveled by how the Markless Viridis was not only a seeker of knowledge but could change without chemicals!

"Well... how fast all depends on how quickly I can gather energy from the environment. Right now... I am using photosynthesis to do so, which is pretty efficient. However, there are... faster ways of doing it, but it requires taking energy from another object or lifeform." She repositions herself a little, looks at Silven's wings again and continues concentrating. "Now I will try... to build the frame of the wings." The stumps continued to grow into little branches, and she tested those as well by moving them around. "Is this about what you would consider... the right size for my body?" They were about twice the size of her claws.

Silven Looked at the frame ignoring one of his legs which began to thumb against the ground. "There is only one way to figure that out my dear, and that is to fly. Depending on your species it may be enough or it may not. I am sorry I can't give you more information but I am not well advised on all these new species I have already encountered,"
