"W-what...!" Viridis tumbled over on her side. "What... happened?" She noticed the sail broke off, facepalmed, and turned to Meritursas.

"If you... require help keeping steady, why... do you not ask?!" she didn't really know how she would help, but there had to be something.

"Be right back." Trevor went up the stairs as far as he could and yelled onto the deck so that the waves wouldn't drown out his voice "WHEKE, GILDA, THE SHARK THING, VIRIDIS, INSANE GUY, AND MARK. GET IN HERE HOWEVER YOU CAN." Trevor pointed at Gyx "YOU CAN STAY OUT HERE." Then he pointed at the dragon "YOU DO WHATEVER YOU WANT NESSIE."

Unfortunately, nobody can get out or in through the door to the deck since it's currently blocked by Meritursas' face.  Same for the stairs; one half has been shattered into splinters, while the other is blocked off by a wall of carapace and teeth.

Famen got eaten by Meritursas

Famen jumped out of the way just as Meri's jaw chomped down on the whole back half of the ship. "Be careful!" Famen shouted from below deck.

(SUMMARY OF WHAT'S HAPPENED:

In the midst of the underwater adventure, Mertursas showed Famen the carvings in the cave via the potato, but all he saw was some cryptic phrases and a whirlpool. Everyone swam to deck, where Kate, Wiffleball and Noctimus were playing pirates. Tiny Meritursas wanted in on it, so he joined in the game, and was "slain" a few times. To reduce awkward movement, he scaled himself up to about half a school bus in size, and in the midst of the game, he spat up a coffin. Trevor freaked out as soon as he saw it, and went below deck in a panic. Inside the coffin, among a broken fishing pole and other odds and ends, was a coat similar to Trevor's...except it was haaaaunted, spooooky. Anyways, Wiffleball scaled down the coat and wore it, and was haunted/tormented by Trevor's dead sister until he forcefully removed it. Soon after this, Meritursas saw a storm on the horizon, and returned to original size to guide the ship safely through the storm. Upon his request to have everyone head into the hold, only Famen obeyed. And after a request by Viridis to hold still, a strong gust of wind caused Meritursas to accidentally bite down hard on the ship's back, Kate, Trevor, Famen, and Wiffleball ended up trapped inside the hold, while everyone else now has to weather the storm on deck. Wiffleball was accidentally snagged on one of Meritursas' teeth, which ripped a good-sized piece of fabric off of the back of his right leg.

Noctimus' shivering got worse and worse, as did his coughing. He whined loud enough to be heard from below deck.

Syndir rubbed the back of his head anxiously and threw his cloak over the critter. They needed to get below deck, but a certain something was in their way. Then again, when did he ever go the straight forward and logical route? 

"Sweet magma I'm really going to do this," Syndir grumbled taking ahold of Noctimus, then shouted at Meritursas, "All right crabbit face, don't rock this boat!" After no consideration whatsoever, he began climbing over the side of ship using his golden gloves to pierce into its side. Hopefully it would offer some stabilization.

Meritursas stares at the primitive human as they climb over the side of the boat.  Sure, he could've just opened his mouth and let them through the door, but apparently they were too mentally damaged to think of something so obvious.  Oh well.

Trevor fell back downstairs and did what nobody else would. He freed Wiffleball from Meritursas' tooth, and picked up the piece of fabric laying on the floor. "You got this, or should I sew it up?"

Syndir continued lowering himself down nearly losing his footing, but recovering last second. Was he at the right level yet? Only one way to tell—he thrust his golden talons into the ship's side and pulled a single wooden board away. "Say, is anyone there?"

"Er, hello there.." Trevor said at the sight of Syndir poking his head into the cargo hold.

The dragon stuck it's head over the side of the boat, watching what her favorite humans person was doing.

Kate heard the shouting coffee guy, and then the coughing fit of the pup. "Noctimus?" She nearly jumped up and made her way over to the hole Syndir had made in the ship and saw him holding the nightmare pup, who looked her sickly. "What happened?! ... It was that evil crab wasn't it!"
