The island was mostly covered by trees and other shrubbery. The rain puddled in strange indentations in the sand, maybe they were footprints? If they were it wasn't like any creature the group has seen waltzing around before. They were more of a circular and unnatural shape, leading into the forest.

Fortunately, the ship's boards weren't soaked for four years in gasoline and wouldn't burst into a mushroom cloud upon immediate contact with the tiny lighter flame, so the crab was able to anticlimactically put out the flame with no damage to the boat, despite doing it in slow motion.

Wiffleball tilted his head at Trevor for a moment, before remembering what Trevor referred to. He turned, briefly scanning through the darkness before his eyes rested on the shape of a small coat, crumpled on the ground. The feeling that had once compelled him to wear it was long gone, replaced by an odd feeling of loss. He hesitated, then drew closer to the coat, extending one paw to touch it.

While Kate was still wet and being on guard for the evil crab, Kade bent over the side of the crate and petted the sick nightmare puppy. Noctimus could smell nightmare fuel, strangely enough coming from the hand that was petting him.

(I'm thinking about making a character sheet for Kade since he now has a physical body, and with that body being made of nightmare fuel, it could lend itself to some... interesting interactions with the environment.)

The crab angrily pointed at it's missing eye, and then Mena's eyepatch. Was it really this hard for her to put two and two together?

(*COUGH COUGH HACK*)

Kate still couldn't see the crab clearly enough to understand what it wanted, and continued to sit protectively in front of the box. Kade grinned and rubbed Noctimus' belly.

The dragon relaxed a little now that the boat wasn't be assaulted by the waves. She still kept her wing over Gilda and Jaw though in case they still wanted shelter.

Kate couldn't see the glasses to dodge them, so the hit her in the face so the hit her face before clattering the floor. "Ow!" She put a hand up to where they had hit, more surprised than hurt.

Kade immediately froze. He slowly turned his head toward the crab, equipped with a death glare that would make a tursai's blood run cold.
