Do you think there ever will be an option when we play DST where when we host a server from the host menu it can support a multilevel server? I'm having a very hard time trying to get the Dedicated servers to work, the mods to actually be in the game, and the world to be customized. Quite frankly I'm lost lol. I follow the instructions but I end up being lost in the end So would that be an option that the DST team will be implementing eventually? If so would it let me host regularly just like how I do now with my friends for a server up to 6 through the DST host game menu? Thanks a bunch! I mean you cannot change slot number, you cannot change name, description of the server and you cannot even put a password... FractalBrot Posted November 14, 2015 Share Posted November 14, 2015 I've been noticing that bee boxes don't produce honey unless within a screen distance or two. If placed far away from people, the bee boxes just don't produce any honey. I've tested this with bee boxes in the caves under natural light and with plenty of flowers nearby. Are you sure your looking at the right folder? Anyways. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I found the easy config files for overworld and cave. When I start them in default option they work. Then I close both console which shuts down servers. Change settings.ini files such as name change and password and then restart both servers. And this time the server does not show up... To bring back the servers i completely delete settings.ini file of both servers and and restart them. it installs the default files back which works. I thought it would be easier but apparently traditional method to download and install a dedic server is much much much more easier and it works without any problem after you stop and change settings.ini folder.. I don't think he/she is referring to the highlight effect. If you didn't notice, there's a Lumpy evergreen that looks regular when moused over to examine while wearing moggles. artemiyME Posted November 14, 2015 Share Posted November 14, 2015 Updating servers always replaces my dedicated_server_mods_setup.lua and modsettings.lua with blank ones, so all mods get erased from server after every update, is there a reason this is happening?
