EDIT: It would appear that, since Koalaphants and Beefalo share similarities in design and coding, that they do in fact follow the rules of mother nature. PandaWaffles Posted July 25, 2015 Share Posted July 25, 2015 They do produce manure, but carefully check the entire inside of his pen. For my Koalefant, he only poops if his pen is completely clean. Maybe there's a pile of manure hiding somewhere inside his pen? A good size one but not too big and close to my base before and trapped 3 of them in it and everytime I go there there's always 6-10 manure around the area. Asparagus Posted July 26, 2015 Share Posted July 26, 2015 @TheKingofSquirrels, also, from what I experience, having other objects near him affects his "pooping" (I think Koalefants look for the number of entites in an area and will not poop if there's more than a certain number of something around) ...Probably get your research labs, chests, tents, fire pits and stuff away from the koalefant... Mario384 Posted July 26, 2015 Share Posted July 26, 2015 Well, I'll give you the specifics. As I just made a playable Koalaphant, I know how the mechanic works. If there's so many entitys in the area, they literally cannot poop. This is to keep beefalo from having spawning tons of poop and lagging everything in their excrement. There is also a hardcap on poop as well, but once it's picked up it'll declog him. When I do that to mine, they keep pooping as they run around. In other words...you gotta scare the crap outta them!
