Do Koalefants not poop in DST?

Recommended Posts

Extreme constipation; get that Koalaphant some Colon-Blow.

As far as I am aware, Koalaphants do not produce manure in Don't Starve.

EDIT: It would appear that, since Koalaphants and Beefalo share similarities in design and coding, that they do in fact follow the rules of mother nature.

@TheKingofSquirrels, also, from what I experience, having other objects near him affects his "pooping" (I think Koalefants look for the number of entites in an area and will not poop if there's more than a certain number of something around)

Probably get your research labs, chests, tents, fire pits and stuff away from the koalefant...

Well, I'll give you the specifics.  As I just made a playable Koalaphant, I know how the mechanic works.  If there's so many entitys in the area, they literally cannot poop.  This is to keep beefalo from having spawning tons of poop and lagging everything in their excrement.  There is also a hardcap on poop as well, but once it's picked up it'll declog him.
