Klei is a great studio that know what should do with their products.You can't expect the game is multi-player mode since their philosophy is survival single-player, but who know in the future? Are you guys just hopping on the multiplayer hating bandwagon because it was so cemented into your heads that Don't Starve multiplayer is bad? If Klei is convinced that this will work, I'm convinced that this will work. Don't Starve turned out great. Reign of Giants turned out great. Some of you need to take a good long look at this, longer than you have, because you are acting as if this shatters everything good that Klei has done. That's sad, guys. That actually makes me sad. To be able to play my wonderful Don't Starve as it is - on my own - but also to be able to share the experience with my friends. It's wonderful news and cleverly played by Klei. They're not taking anything away from the single player experience and likely drawing a whole new crowd into the game in this way. I can still sit up late at night and play it by my lonesome, but I can also have a great evening with my friends, huddling around the campfire. I just hope it'll be co-op rather than competitive. People cannot believe in everything developers say....as long as you don't confuse "being attacked" with simply linking to the devs' clearly made intentions in a stickied post at the top of the subforum. It has nothing to do with "believing what developers say." Sometimes, people blur together the helpful redirection with the senseless responses.
