I gotta say the dumbest most outrageous thing ive done waaaas.... hiring about 20 pigs to help chop down a forest, 3 pine guards spawned, the wolves started barking when dawn came and the fight still ensued until night came. It was a full moon. The hounds targeted on to me and i was close enough to all the pigs when they turned to werepigs so they all targeted me and left the tree guards alone. As i was running for my life in circles trying not to lead the fire hounds to my camp i accidently struck a tree with an axe. This made all three tree gaurds come after me and WHATTYA KNOW, my miner hat went out. I tried to make a torch but.... i think a werepig, tree guard, hound AND charlie got a wack in. I insta died. Cant say that was dumb, it was more along the lines of the worst possible thing that could happen in dont starve. I bet maxwell had some of his demon friends over to showcase his purgatory. I bet they were all laughing at my demise. (was 5 steps to the exit rope, that's why). Damnit. EDIT: Have a double moment. I have a pig village, and one full moon night I ran up to them as 14 werepigs fighting a treeguard. Ran in without armour to harvest loot, thinking the treeguard would kill enough of them, but about 6 pigs remained. Mauled me just as morning arrived. Turns out 60 health and a log suit can't take 12 Gunpowders (or something like that). And then I tried to burn down a forest to exterminate the spiders. 60 health, no armour, takes 3x fire damage. Didn't end well. That was my second save ever! In my first, I was killed by a deerclops on the first day of the first winter. porps Posted January 26, 2014 Share Posted January 26, 2014 i went out digging graves at dawn and was very much insane as i made me way back to camp in the evening. I knew i had taffy back in the crockpot so wasnt too worried, but then the hounds decided to attack... I kited them to the beefalo which was on the way home anyway, but i took heavy damage in the encounter. No matter though, i had survived and thats the main thing. Lost my world on day 610.I did not know you could fall asleep on the last day of winter and wake up to Deerclop's screen shake. Did not manage to handle the situation as well as I should have. I felt like I just let myself die there. Respawned from an effigy, but then hounds show up. I then got myself caught into a corner and burned.It's like the sound of failure called my name and I decided to hear it out.
