Hey, I need to say this too..! I absolutely LOVE Don't Starve, it has brought me lots and lots of entertainment, and I'm sure it will bring lots more! You are genius for coming up with such an unique and amazing game! Not to mention how special all the characters, monsters, and even items are! The way you care for the community, and how you are active on the forums and everywhere, is something really amazing, and it was a happy surprise for me. And the puzzles gave even more depth to your interesting game, I got really addicted to those mysteries, and they made my imagination run wild..!

 

And that's a lot said by someone like me, who doesn't usually enjoy any games at all. Don't Starve was something really different for me, I love that game!!! I love it so much, that I'll most likely have to try your other games as well! :D

Good job, Klei! You are genius!!!

Thank you so much Klei! You've created a wonderfully unique and addictive game, which all of us (clearly) love and support, and enjoy many, many hours playing. Your team has provided us a rarity in this technology-driven world: amazing support and service to your fans, and people who really listen and give feedback on all our major -and- minor concerns.

Thank you, Klei, for this game. I normally don't like games that are rogue-likes or are even reminiscent of rogue-likes...but this one has me utterly hooked. I was able to nab it on sale and got a copy for a friend as well (and couldn't resist getting the soundtrack!). The art, the gameplay, and the characters are all compelling, and the game has me constantly going back for more.

 

So thank you for all the work, the creativity, and for obviously listening to the players of your game. . :-)

Thank you for this very distinct* game, Klei, with its own new brand of gameplay appeal.

I appreciate the weight you put in modding support, especially the help and attention @Ipsquiggle** and @Cheerio have provided to the community. And we must all be grateful for the magical title fairy and all the glitter he's spread upon us (the least of which are titles), especially in keeping this forum a healthy, clean and ever evolving environment.

And finally, I can't help feeling utmost respect for @Bigfoot in being the founder of a groundbreaking gem in game development: the sample mod.

Klei, it is as if you have made a game tailored for me. I was one of those early fans, around the time the chrome app came out. Hats off to you gentlemen and ladies.

It truly is a shame that people are leaving like this, but you must ignore them for the moment.

I did not think I would care at all about this game when I first saw it.  I figured it was going to be a game where click and gather stuff while everything and it's mother is out to relentlessly kill you and only you without much you can actually do about it.

But when I started looking up more about it ... rather spontaneously, I found myself getting more and more interested to the point where I realized I now have played 178 hours making me give this game my award for "game I was most pleasantly wrong about of the year!" ... Also I find what you do with the lore puzzles is brilliant and unique. 

Now that it's also past midnight ... A happy New Year to you Klei from Long Island!

Thank you Klei for everything! This DLC is honestly the second best thing to happen to Don't Starve!

First of course is Klei :-)

 

This is the first necro I've ever seen that is... probably better than making a whole new thread.

 

I would like to thank the music team for their amazing work on the DLC, as well as all the pre-DLC tracks of course.

Lol this one (RoG) isn't fully out yet and you're asking for more :)

Tough question to answer as this DLC has really added so much already. But there could potentially be more DLC.

I have enjoyed this game since when the chrome app first came out, I have multiple copies that I have gifted or just purchased to show support. I have sunk countless hours into this game, more than probably any other and it still continues to enchant me. The new dlc is coming along fantastically and is making my experience as a player even more enjoyable. I hope that interest in this game continues so that we may watch as it continues to grow and prosper. I also hope more merchandise comes along so that I may throw my money at you even more than I already have/plan on doing. I thank you for all the hard work that has been and will be put into this magical experience of a game.
