ZurkQyulox
Basically it's been 10 days of winter in my game, and i've set it to long summer. It is starting to get really annoying could someone tell me when winter is going to end? KidneyBeanBoy
I think winter lasts until you kill a deerclops, though I might be wrong. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/28437-winter-is-forever/#findComment-335423 Share on other sites

Boar Head
It lasts 10 days with the long summer option. At least that's how long it usually lasts for me. Nebulous
Winterometer gives you a reading of ambient temp. Like real seasons, sometimes it's cool in the summer and fairly warm in the winter, especially on the transition days. That's the sign of Winter is coming. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/28437-winter-is-forever/#findComment-335819 Share on other sites

Cynical Cynicist
It'd be cool if you could heat Winter-O-Meters and make them spike up in readings. Iris
It'd be cool if you could heat Winter-O-Meters and make them spike up in readings. For what purpose? The winter-o-meter only tells you what the current temperature is, it doesn't control it. Nebulous
It'd be cool if you could heat Winter-O-Meters and make them spike up in readings. You can. Put a fire next to it and the winterometer gives a higher reading. Oh, didn't know it actually measured the temperature around its immediate vicinity. That's pretty cool. It's just a thermometer (and the Rainometer is a Barometer.) Why I stopped relying on it (and paid attention to the elapsed days as a guide) a long time back,.
