Yes, beefalo bells allow you to transport wild and domesticated beefalos between shards (surface/caves in simple terms)

well that's funny, on my beta world I had just finished fighting the shadow chess pieces with one added rook, not my best decision. I tell you what I felt like I earned that saddle and bell, but now if I understand correctly... we reset the ruins with the rift open to see these guys. 

Does that mean, the ruins regen process starts when a rift is open and then makes these new guys, or does it have to do the whole thing with the rifts active? It sure would stink to go through all that work killing fuel weaver to have a technicality make it all go up in smoke.

also, question, was there something in the update that would have made it so during wagstaffs experiment, the player can now identify the static as target to be attacked by default?

I just pressed F trying to hit a crow and hit it by mistake, same thing happened for a bright shade staff attack, bounced between it and a couple of crows taking it down to kill range i guess.

The great depths worm got a revamped loot table to choose its drops from. Among these are nitre, glow berries, all of the ruins gems, and fossil fragments.

The new list, for reference (do keep in mind these are not guaranteed items, think of it similar to a tumbleweed where it will always roll a certain amount of items [in this case, ~100 times compared to 3] but doesn’t mean it will choose said items):

Of course to be precise, it's a second change of the Ruins, since we had Ancient guardian rework in 2022.

Даже сравнивая этот квест с мутировавшими боссами на стороне луннара, он не оставляет особого впечатления. GG @benfroyobro9381 ! This also means Klei liked a lot our proposition to make the worm boi as a general renewable resource for caves. This patch...this...t-this...I'm crying from overjoy!!!!!!  This is too much for my heart to handle it!!!! Thanks Klei!!!

Spoil it with what? A bug in the game? This shouldn't be in the game, the developers themselves have half changed it, I don't think they wanted to leave this bug only half fixed

You can also drop it on the ground and chest mimic will eat it

However, to all the public out there, this is what the Ruins could be now, in his new true horror side;

In the first scene it's one + 2 bishops and tons of crawling horrors and terrobeaks but if you notice in the last picture, the next cycle phase, had 3 lurking nightmares, *gulp*

(bear in mind I had equipped nightmare amulet, so remove 3 crawlings and 1-2 terrorbeaks from the equation)

In the second scene it's one + 1 terrorbeak + 1 crawling horror + 1 depth worm + 4 infected splumonkeys, *gulp* 

 

Lurking nightmares don't seem to have different spawn chances. It seems to be nightmare lights or fissures will decide at random between crawling horrors, terrorbeaks and lurking. 

Lurking nightmares have different [and new awesome!] sound effects compared to crawling horrors and terrorbeaks and are LOUD. Klei wants clearly to warn you tiles away, that a great horror is approaching. 

Lurking nightmare has 50 damage and dies with 24 spear hits, double of what a terrorbeak is!! His "counter-attack" doesn't come sometimes, if he doesn't have enough space. Also if you tank, you can land 2-3 more hits, in case you don't want to kite a lot his "counter-attack".

Just imagine if Klei adds even more normal shadows types in the future :spidercowers:

No. I don't like that one bit. It's a very niche thing that few does it for the sake of not farming hearts to kill fuelweaver. Kinda like how they made it easier to kill Celestial champion anytime but for fuelweaver there's a cooldown so... If this gets taken away I won't like it one bit.

The champion could be summoned an unlimited number of times from his first appearance, it was just simplified a little with the latest updates. I would like to summon shadow chess through dreadstone statues at any time than just a ton of knights, as they have done now

Why the harsh struggle to farm hearts that have little to no use though? Shadow chess has a lot of HP, I wanna just kill them and be done with them for a long long time personally. Fighting more than once isn't worth my personal time just to kill a boss to farm gems to get more decor resources.
