Your mostly right though Walter is definitely the higher resource sink if your actually willing to use his slingshot.

yeah that's true its just a lot more convenient as Walter to use the slingshots over lugging around generators and catapults.

just tested, this is untrue. please do not say stuff like this in the future -.-

you always teleport to the NEAREST pad unless you are on a pad, in which case you teleport to the NEXT nearest pad. you do not cycle through them, if you do, please tell me how you are accomplishing this.

Odd, I had just tested it. Let me double-check for you.
Edit: It wasn't scrolling, but it is possible to manipulate your distance to the next one and cut down your average travel time in one way by 3/4, unless I miscalculated. You were right. I just have zero expectations.

No it's worse each stack is only 60 uses. So for example if your using gold only a step above the worst that's only 60 hits from a spear per slot.

Oh hey it's the skill we asked and asked for when wormwood got butterfly friend/bee kind

Interesting... :crushed:

Sure would make bee kind more useful...

These lunar catapults sure are crazy good with maxed out aoe, especially if you can get your hands on a crown shard. Quick and Easy late-game wood farm, add some WINbots and you're set for life. Honestly really love this approach, as it adds some good harvesting utility to Winona, without stepping on other harvesters' toes much, due to being locked behind lunar rifts.

lunar shards do not work for the enlightened strike, only the pure brilliance works (probably for exactly the reason you wanted to use enlightened shards)

Wanda doesn't have to keep on telipads and scroll through them actively, and she can bypass her cooldowns entirely by swapping out dupe watches at a terminal station, not that the cooldowns hinder her much even when she has one per location. Not to mention she's wanda, she's busted long before she has teleports.

Winona does SO MUCH though, HOLY ****.

Winona doesn't have to have a individual telebrella for each location.

Winona also has to do a fair lot of walking because while she can manipulate which one she'll teleport to next, she needs to move half the way for it. Wanda on the other hand only needs to carry one watch to her watch terminal in order to be able to access any location in the constant under 10 seconds bar loading times.

thank you for re-testing!

Yeah, it wasn't scrolling/gem Wanda but still upsettingly good. Thanks for the pointer.

That just comes down to your placements either way Winona's feels like the far smoother experience

We may have lost, but for the Wolfgang mains who had invested skill points into being able to toss their dumbells at a cost of Dumbell durability- they get a huge win I guess *shrugs*

What are you talking about? You don't have to invest any points to throw your dumbbells. You can invest points to get more damage out of them, but I'm not sure anybody really did? You can still take them wherever you want, anyway.

Disagree Winona should be faster with smart placements.

You can only be faster if you have only two home points in the world. With two telipads, you can go to either of those two telipads from anywhere in the world instantly. However, adding more stations requires you to walk past the middle point between two telipads, which means you need to walk even more if you make a whole bunch of them. All while Wanda's travel time remains at virtually nothing, because, you know, all it takes is two rightclicks if you want to save inventory and one if you are willing to carry every watch on you.

We will be doing a pass on this for all her machines eventually. As well as auto-updating mechanics for all her machines that don't often need reactivation or re-deployment.

Any chance for upgrade indicators? like little "plus" sign on it or something?

Unless I'm misunderstanding don't they compare distance between your current location and the one your on? So if you stood closer to one on the pad than another one in another direction wouldn't it prioritize that one?

Me when I went away to di something and came back to 20+ notifications.

I'm sorry, I don't get what you mean?
In any case, having more than two telipads forces you to walk half the way between one of the two closer telipads and the third telipad if you want to teleport to the third one, instead of being caught up in a loop of two telipads. If you get this you're good, really.

I feel like people forgot that you can teleport from one telepad to another by standing on it... It cycles

yeah, this allows you to infinitely loop between two, but not to a third one, which involves walking at least half the way away from one of the current telipads you're looping between.

in a way, adding more than two telipads makes the telipad network worse.

Not sure why you got stuck between two, I was able to cycle between three of them in my world.

Would you be able to provide a video recording including the map locations of the telipads? We would be glad.

In my experience I was able to go a perfect linear path by decreasing the distance between each next one, then standing on the telipads on each use. So you can go a linear path.
