After playing around with Winona and hope that Spotlight and generator will get more visible upgrades based on talents you pick.
Say for example: there are two Winona players at the same time, one has spotlight that heats, another doesnt have it, you wont be able to make a difference between them without dismantling by the player with/without effect.

It would also be nice to be able to turn off the heat of catapult, since it kinda makes Summer harder to survive since it's stronger than Fashion Melon and Ice Block provides chillness.

Key additions and changes:

  • Sunken Chests: added new exclusive loot - Surprising Seeds and Archaic Boats.

In the broadcast you said it would be 7 different types of trees. In the future do you intend to add the other 5?

Hi
Can I ask about adding something becouse it's also partially ocean QoL?
About "nautopilot"
1. Is it possible to slightly change behavior of monkeys during raid to avoid taking nautopilot beacons with all connected boats or change something that will help to prevent that?
2. If beacon is connected i can turn it off to prevent boat from moving slightly when im not there and also avoid that glitch when all structures or other boats are moved or destroyed when i came back. But when i go for example to caves and go back or reconnect to server, they are always automatically turned on so is it possible to add something like when nautopilot beacon is connected and turned off or on, the server will remember they "state" when reloading the world?
Still, I'm just only asking but thanks in advance.

Well, no wonder mosquito skills were not removed despite all the hate - Itchcraft is too good of a name =)
I'm glad those skills don't occupy half of the tree like we feared

So far i'm not sure how new merm buildings work, but from what i see, there are tier 1 and tier 2 which basically have same function, but different art.
Point is, why draw new art if it's the same thing, and you will feel the "progression" only once. Or never, if you use c_skip

I am absolutely gonna skip the mosquito branch since the sound of their wings flaping is annoying. I loved the repellent though.

Is sad to see that the bug about CK's ice arena changing sanity to enlightement wasnt converted into a feature

It was also fitting with Crab King guarding the Celestial Altar

But I can see why they didn't add it since it a lot is already going on

I looked around the forum and as far as I can tell, we all agree. The shadow are a bit of visual letdown.
also from what little bit of skill tree I could find I made some alterations for mirroring purposes my stuff are the things in bold except for the main section titles

Also will other skill trees be revisited eventually cause there is a few things I like to alter about them and I think the rest of the community would like

let me know and I’ll go in into more detail

I think this could be a simple fix by adding like a little Red glow of waves around the light like this:

Do Winona spotlights work on plants to heat them up? Or things like ice or other things that have melting mechanics? Could make like a greenhouse sort of place to farm with them if they had heat to them that would affect surroundings.

Imagine that you could just get spotlights to focus on an area to hatch tallbirds or lavae. That'd be pretty cool.

I don’t know, but I do know that the new geo fruit has to be heated up to be broken.. and this just seems like a logical synergy. Since Winona is in my top 4 most played DST characters.. I need this Synergy (if it isn’t in the game already)

Even if One heated light won’t crack them alone, do it like placing multiple heated lights near each other (or Ark survival evolved Air Conditioners/Heaters for Egg Incubation)

Please someone explain how to unlock the telebrella. Someone said something about scanning, but... What does that mean?!

You know those calibrated...thingies, which you get from cache chests(they look like one of Wagstaff's tools from lunar storm), basically, you can use them to scan items and buildings to learn their crafting recipe if you don't know it yet.

So, allegedly, sometimes you would get the telebrella/telepad parts from the same cache boxes, and by using this item on them, you'd unlock the recipe. From personal experience, I got the teleplatfrom parts about 3 times and not a single telebrella, and it seems bugged either way, so I couldn't scan the platform parts anyway. However, scanning WOBOT works just fine, so at least there's that.

Alright so some criticism

Rockjaws less damage is... Weird I mean why ? I think they were great threat as they were what's the point of making a scary enemy if your going to nerf his damage it's not like he was unfair so why did you go for that ?

Crab king rework looks good but he needs a serious buff he just went from late game boss to just a mid game boss which is stupid, make his crabs immune to sleep and keep his geyser and he will be good, now that the claws no longer hold you and rocks break at the start of the fight the geysers will be completely fair and will actually add a whole other layer to the fight

Wholeheartedly disagree. Panflute is currently the only reason I think CK's healing phase is bearable. You're forced to stop CK's healing if you want to make any progress in the fight, which means controlling the crabs (i.e. through panflute), tanking them, or killing them with damage multipliers. Obviously not everyone has damage multipliers, and if you try to do that with someone like Wilson, CK ends up full-healing.

I really, really, reeaaallly do not want the only course of action to be tanking crabs.

I feel like merms should also travel to the caves pretty much for the same reasons as merm king's buffs. Why should I build another merm king in the caves when i already have one in the surface? and why should I build merm flortifications and craftsmerm houses in the caves when I already have them on the surface? I like that merm king's buffs will also buff Wurt inside the caves thanks to this update, but merms should travel to the caves too in my honest opinion.

  • Big Ups 1

The feeder structure from wurt shouldn't be used to reduce the spawn cooldown of merms, they already spawn too fast.

Since is a tribute with food it should fill the loyalty from merms arround so we only need to give them whatever to hire a follower with maxed loyalty time
