Didn’t they say that they will look into Walter some time later also? Because they know he needs more attention.

They did they said they'd look into the remaining issues with his rounds, add new Woby skills that allow Woby to stand against beefalo in her own way without trying to be just a better beefalo, and add scout skills. Wether there is enough time left for that is anyone's guess though. Again my cope remains as this: introduce patch on Thursday, we test for 2 weeks, introduce update on the following Thursday.

Seriously I think replace the general damage multiplier with planar damage bonus is a buff.

Maybe poeple want the same thing just one side call it a buff and the other side call it nerf.

Doubtful, even if there's no more updates to the beta we usually still get a notice one week in advance. They might announce the release date this week, but I don't think update launching this week is goihng to happen.

Also Shadow Abigail has been nerfed from a max of 40 planar damage to a flat 25. They could reduce the planar defense, but that doesn't seem to be a path their interested in taking.

Do we know if threads can disappear from the beta forums after awhile (not counting archived)? Because if not, over 25% of all beta threads ever created were about this beta specifically.

Future historians will not know much about our time. However, they will know 1 thing. The people of the 21 century had a weekly ritual where they would gather and pray to their gods, which they called klei. To bless them with their so called beta. Although much is lost in translation, the legends speak of their heroes, who they called developers. Who worked tirelessly to bring this so called beta closer. Were their prayers answered? The answer is lost to time, unfortunately.

To be fair I don't think this has been a Wendy-exclusive thing, just look at the update thread from right before they released Walter's new skill tree, where Wortox got the "we're happy with his skill tree" message and Walter players thought we had been pretty much forgotten. I think future historians are more likely to go "and those mysterious beings they called 'devs', who were universally despised and yet depended on by the members of the city-states Wendy, Wortox, and Walter".
